Food was good - especially duck and venison - though the starters were a bit uneven. Service was also good though they seemed short staffed - our waitress was rushed off her feet. The main thing that could be done to improve the experience would be to add something to absorb the noise - it was so loud that even though tables are small it was hard to hear people seated on the other side.

Recently visited this restaurant with nostalgia from three years ago, only to be disappointed. The menu lacked three of its signature dishes, and the portions have noticeably shrunk since my last visit. The ambiance at the bar emitted a stale, neglected pub odor, which unfortunately extended to the restrooms. It's disheartening to witness a decline in both menu options and overall atmosphere compared to the quality I remember from years past. Hoping for an improvement in the future. Adding to the disappointment, the manager seemed disinterested and stressed from the moment we walked in. Not only did she fail to acknowledge the diminished experience, but she also neglected to remove the service charge or offer an apology. Her demeanor conveyed boredom and stress, leaving me with a profound sense of dissatisfaction. Truly a regrettable experience that has left me feeling profoundly disheartened.

One of my favourite restaurants ever and I've been going regularly for YEARS. I love introducing my friends to The Shed - and no one has ever gone away disappointed. The staff are all so friendly and welcoming and you never feel rushed through your meal. It's small but lively and the food is perfection - flavour combinations that surprise and delight - anything you pick on the menu will be astounding. A very special place.

I’ve been attracted to this little restaurant for quite some time, passing nearly every day while walking home from work. An out-of-town friend stopped by, and we popped down the block to one of the finest culinary experiences. I’ve had this far in London. I love the stools with tractor seats on the outdoor dining porch; it is a potent reminder that this is truly a farm-to-table restaurant. Wholesome food, artistically created, excelling, with taste and flavours. This is truly a neighbourhood gem with high value for the money. I expect we will be frequent patrons of this lowbrow but very high-quality restaurant.

Pork chop was overcooked and tough as rubber!!! All dishes were 5/10 at best and drinks were all flooded with ice, honestly not great and bill came to £330 for 4 with 1 bottle of wine and 3 drinks...can't understand why or how this restaurant has the reviews it does.

Great little restaurant, nice ambience and really attentive staff. Food was quite expensive (I guess it is London) but very tasty and nicely presented. Only downside I'd say was that we felt we were being a bit rushed as all the food turned up very quickly. I guess some people want rapid service though so that's personal preference.

3rd time here (once at Rabbit) and quite disappointed with the price v quality of the food compared to the previous occasions. We ordered the steak and the pork chop and for the price, there were no sides. There was some undercooked cabbage with the pork chop, which was chewy and not particularly flavourful, while my friend's steak had a few leaves on it. We were reminded several times to order, but no one came to check that our food was to our liking. My favourite, the Marmite eclair did not feel as fresh as in previous times. It was limp and on the small side. Disappointed.

This is my new favourite place in London. The food is unfailingly delicious, the menu excellent, imaginative and fresh, the staff could not be friendlier and you don't need a mortgage to dine here. It's totally unpretentious. Can be a little loud but that's just the small, low-ceilinged space with lots of reflective surfaces and overexcitable punters. I'll be back!

The service and food was great. We had the soda bread, burrata, sirloin, pork and chocolate torte. Some of the best food we’ve had in London. Highly recommend.
