Excellent
Great place. We really enjoyed our meal and we were well looked after. Will definitely go back
We had a sharing platter & some chips, which were both great. Non alcoholic cocktail was still nice & fancy. Quiet inside the tavern but lots of patrons outside as weather was good. Good atmosphere
The food wa acceptable, but nothing to write home about, however iint hese days we were VERY disappointed to see that none of the staff had any PPE. We were sat near the bar and did see the barman sanitise his hands a couple of time, but that was all.
Great pub food and vibe! They were not familiar with The Forks "Yumms" I had to pay with but after consulting with the manager it all got sorted out. Worth a visit for a drink and premium pub food.
We went to the Ship Tavern for their Sunday roast, and it's true, it was amazing! I had pork belly, delicious! My partner had beef, which was also very good. The dining room upstairs is cosy, the staff is very nice, I would definitely recommend it and go back!!!
Great little find , lovely cosy dining area upstairs the food was superb as were the staff . Great place for dining g near theatres, will be going back for sure
The food was very nice and the service was very good
Good food and friendly professional service. I have dined there a number of times on my way to meetings in Covent Garden and have never been disappointed.
really welcoming and helpful.
The Ship was wonderful as always. Great food, atmosphere and service.
Our group of six had a very good evening here. The service was friendly and well-paced, and we all enjoyed our meals, with the sea bass and wild boar sausages being especially praised
I am a long time customer of The Ship Tavern. I take friends and family here and they are and always have been so far a lovely bunch. Staff is friendly and helpful. Food is great and the atmosphere is fantastic, especially at dinner time when they turn the table lamps on and light up the candles. Very happy about all of it.
I like the fact that this is a pub/restaurant so you can get both experiences in one. You have the pub on the ground floor which is a bit noisy but a really nice space and then you've got the dining room on the first floor which is a bit more quiet and the mood setting is really great although is a bit dark for a lunch meeting in my opinion. Service was excellent and food was really tasty. a bit pricy but it is worth it in the end.
Great atmosphere, lovely food, friendly staff.
The dinner and atmosphere were amazing. I had the best beef wellington of my life!
Was good venue and service good but very expensive. For starter+ main and a drink ,£45 pp and my main wasn't very good. Fish was small and overcooked.
Best meal is the Barnsley chops, superb!
Wonderful city tavern with a great history. Meal was excellent with a wide choice of starters and quality main courses. Despite being busy the staff were great - excellent service and very friendly atmosphere. Good food, great surroundings - what’s not to like? Recommend.
Great ambience in the Oak Room with polite and attentive service. We had Brie starters and ribeye steaks that were excellent. Not cheap but quality like this never is. Well worth a visit and highly recommended.
Great service, well cooked and presented dishes. Will strongly recommend for get together or special occassions
