The service was warm and human. The food was amazing, as were the wine pairings. Tables are a little close, but in the end that added to the entertainment. I’m ready ti go back!!

This is a very nice place with a chef full of inspiration. We took the gastronomic Michelin menu. All of the dishes were good, a couple were exceptional (the mong fish was just over the top with a subtle balance between the acid, the texture, the fat and the test), one was disappointing (the venison was a bit test less and would deserve to be reinvigorated by a better jus or something). The deserts were good really good. the service is friendly but approximative. Overall an excellent experience, but slightly overpriced in regards to the standards.

Fantastic food. Even better than, and very different to, previous chef. Lovely, varied tasting menu, compares favourably with Chiswick's Michelin Starred restaurant, doubtless awaiting suitable recognition. Recommended for an occasion.

The cooking was of a very high standard at the Silver Birch and the service was impeccable however the portion size compared to price needs some adjustment. For example the scallop starter at £24 was 1 scallop - no matter how good the cooking is unless this is a tasting menu the price is out of line. The main course lamb was also a little fatty and could have been rendered more. The restaurant was fairly busy but I wonder how much repeat business they will get?

This is an excellent restaurant with a subtle, full of taste cuisine. the chef has married with mastery a lot of different tests and textures in his meals. His cuisine is creative with a high control of the cooking. He knows how to mix the acid to the better but well balanced. The point to improve is to bring a bite a gourmandise with one or two extra bites for the meals, for me, the portions are really too small eg the tartare which can barely fill a soup spoon.

The restaurant occupies an unlikely location in the middle of Chiswick High Street but is nevertheless a superb example of inventive combinations of ingredients and original presentation. The frantic high street is but a distant memory when you enter the front door and up until the moment you leave.

The food at The Silver Birch was wonderful. Incredibly tasty, well executed and beautiful looking dishes. The only minor blemish would be that it just isn’t busy enough considering how good it is. Get booked in and support this gem of a local restaurant.

A wonderful modern restaurant in the heart of Chiswick. Its unpretentiousness belies a quality that would feel at home in Mayfair for instance. Effortlessly elegant, stylish and with a super relaxed vibe, offers quality ingredients beautifully cooked and presented and excellent service. Special mention to Sunny: from the moment you step in and welcomes you, it leaves you in no doubt you're in for a treat. I loved it and I will certainly be back

We attended today for a birthday meal and we were very happy with the service and quality of food. The chef was kind enough to allow us to switch the dessert to t he Knickerbocker Glory. I had seen a negative review but can confirm a positive experience. Another diner also asked about our choice of food and said it was a good choice having the Skate. Wonderful atmosphere and friendly engaging service.

Staff were nice, food was average for a Michelin restaurant, not bad but not remarkable. Everything was just okay, no problems but no details to make it special. We were the only customers eating during the whole Saturday lunch. Really not worthy the price, I am sorry to say.
