The food was unbelievably good, and the way the waiters knew all about the food just demonstrated how well they are trained in what the kitchen is producing.The sommeliers matched some really good wines to the food.!

it just gets better & better. with the change (X2) of chef since we first came here in 2022, the food, ambiance, lovely staff and the whole experience keeps on improving. The menu is now varied, perfectly balanced, immaculately executed and served with a warm friendly professionalism that I feel would be hard to beat at 2-3x the price. All the dishes were just great, and they even split the matched wines as the two of us swapped half way through each course.

Food is excellent actually. The problem is the amount of food. I had the lamb, it was tasty but with 3 mouthfuls it was much too small as a main dish. I don't mind higher cost if it means the dish is fulfilling, or maybe serve more bread throughout the courses.

The third time I've been this year. The food is great - real attention to flavours, beautifully presented, great choices. Calm and relaxed atmosphere.Plenty of space between tables, able to have conversations without having to shout over loud music. Staff attentive but not in your face all the time.

I took my mum for a belated Mother’s Day meal, we had book the taster menu through the fork at 14:30pm, when we arrived we were told that the taster menu stops at 14:00 and despite the restaurant telling the fork several times that they were stating the wrong times the fork still hasn’t changed this. Luckily the staff and the chefs were amazing and did the taster menu even though this meant they missed part of their own break before evening service. All of the staff were lovely, so friendly and made us feel completely comfortable. The service and the food were fantastic! We will definitely be going back and will be recommending this restaurant to everyone.

A totally wonderful lunch, by fluke on Valentine's day, but more because we needed to be in Chiswick for some work and read how good this Silver Birch was... Well it was! If this special , relaxed yet highly motivated restaurant expects success by word of mouth, no doubt they will get it. Everyone around us praised and enjoyed each dish, done with real flair and skill. The lovely welcome,the professionalism and charm of every single waiter, sommelier, maître de etc..makes you feel they enjoy being part of a winning and passionate team. We felt that too, and can't wait to be back and tell our friends.

This is a very nice place with a chef full of inspiration. We took the gastronomic Michelin menu. All of the dishes were good, a couple were exceptional (the mong fish was just over the top with a subtle balance between the acid, the texture, the fat and the test), one was disappointing (the venison was a bit test less and would deserve to be reinvigorated by a better jus or something). The deserts were good really good. the service is friendly but approximative. Overall an excellent experience, but slightly overpriced in regards to the standards.

The cooking was of a very high standard at the Silver Birch and the service was impeccable however the portion size compared to price needs some adjustment. For example the scallop starter at £24 was 1 scallop - no matter how good the cooking is unless this is a tasting menu the price is out of line. The main course lamb was also a little fatty and could have been rendered more. The restaurant was fairly busy but I wonder how much repeat business they will get?

This is an excellent restaurant with a subtle, full of taste cuisine. the chef has married with mastery a lot of different tests and textures in his meals. His cuisine is creative with a high control of the cooking. He knows how to mix the acid to the better but well balanced. The point to improve is to bring a bite a gourmandise with one or two extra bites for the meals, for me, the portions are really too small eg the tartare which can barely fill a soup spoon.

The restaurant occupies an unlikely location in the middle of Chiswick High Street but is nevertheless a superb example of inventive combinations of ingredients and original presentation. The frantic high street is but a distant memory when you enter the front door and up until the moment you leave.

A wonderful modern restaurant in the heart of Chiswick. Its unpretentiousness belies a quality that would feel at home in Mayfair for instance. Effortlessly elegant, stylish and with a super relaxed vibe, offers quality ingredients beautifully cooked and presented and excellent service. We attended today for a birthday meal and we were very happy with the service and quality of food. The chef was kind enough to allow us to switch the dessert to t he Knickerbocker Glory. I had seen a negative review but can confirm a positive experience. Another diner also asked about our choice of food and said it was a good choice having the Skate. Wonderful atmosphere and friendly engaging service.

Staff were nice, food was average for a Michelin restaurant, not bad but not remarkable. Everything was just okay, no problems but no details to make it special. We were the only customers eating during the whole Saturday lunch. Really not worthy the price, I am sorry to say.
