6/10I had the prawn cocktail as a starter, did not feel this was value for money, as the salad was just chunks of lettuce and hardly any sauce. My main lagane was very nice. The salad bowl however was disappointing The service was very slow, and it appeared to be only one waitress serving. This experience overall was disappointing as I did have Christmas day meal, and could not fault the food or service T

8.5/10The waiter allowed me to sit in a quieter area as I wanted to read while waiting which was great as very noisy near young kids. There was a lot of food and for me too much that I wasted. The meal was delicious

10/10The food was great and the service 😋 Only down side was the path way into the restaurant,I an disabled and the path was uneven and my mobility scooter couldn't go on it we had to go around the building to go to another entry point which was still uneven but not as bad. But once we got inside it was lovely..

6.5/10The food was reasonable. My wife had pie of the day which was steak.There we’re 4 pieces of meat in pie and very little gravy.The veg and mash were fine but with no gravy we’re bland. What does it cost for a jug of gravy which would of made the meal MUCH better. I had hunters chicken.It was tasty but with the chicken only 1/4” thick it was very disappointing and not good value. Why cut corners to increase profit when it will mean that customers do not return.

8/10The problem I had with the meal. When asked for French Mustard to go with my stake I was told that they do not have any type of Mustard. I could not believe that a restaurant offering meat stakes do not have any mustard to offer it dinners. A very helpful young man did go and find some Mustard from some wear probably his own. Saving my wife's birthday meal.

8/10Really nice place and dining experience. Service was abysmal but fortunately we didn’t want another glass of wine or dessert so it didn’t really impact us. Would definitely visit again but would hope it was a one off short staffing situation.

10/10We've been coming here on and off for thirty years - and that says it all......reliable, wonderful ambience, excellent food , excellent service and sensible prices. A rock-solid choice- with the HUGE advantage that it accepts dogs,,,,

9/10Overall experience was very good. Long wait between courses - possibly due to lack of staff, but this also gave time for food to settle. Was a little bit cool where we were sitting but not uncomfortably so. Food was great. Server was lovely and friendly

8.5/10The service was very good when you got in and sat down. The only thing I would say the guy at the door with the computer was quite rude to a customer who was trying to ask him questions who had hearing aids in but the boy at the door wouldn’t notice this, because it didn’t make eye contact once with the man asking a question just tried to answer questions with his back to him. And when we were leaving the same bloke didn’t acknowledge us at all, not a goodbye or look at us just ignored us. I think he needs to go back to a customer care course and quickly.

7.5/10Our main complaint was that it was so hot and dark in the resteraunt ( very stuffy) we asked straight away for some iced water. The waitress arrived with a small vase of water and the water was warm! We asked another waitress for ice and but the same thing happened - more warm water! We then asked for a glass of ice and water but was told the water was just from the tap! We got a glass of ice eventually. Too tired to argue after that. Food wise, my daughter ordered pork belly. Most of it was just fat, she showed it to the waitress, and then wrapped the fat in a napkin to take home to her cats. We don't waste anything. It was a special 76th birthday meal so was indeed disappointing.

8.5/10Myself and my 2 friends had a lovely meal and made better by Nix our server. She was really busy but had time to make us welcome and had great communication and cheerful. Your lucky to have her on your staff ????

6/10Staff were welcoming and friendly but seemed overwhelmed by the number of customers they were serving. Service was slow for both drinks and food albeit with a smile and apology for the wait. We were unable to get our first choice of starters as they “still frozen “. The small area we were dining in was noisy due to a large group of adults and children.

9/10Lovely and cosy on a cold rainy night! Food suited the whole family group, something for everyone! Amazing sticky toffee pudding! Would recommend. Friendly staff snd clean toilets.

10/10Will definitely go again and recommend. The food was great with good choice and well presented. The staff were really friendly and it is a lovely setting. Really convenient too for heading over from the Retail Park after shopping or seeing a film.

7.5/10My wife and I love the snow goose and visit every week as we can take our little dog Alfie with us. Alfie lives the dog friendly atmosphere with free doggie biscuits. fantastic pub and restraint.
