I have been here through the week and the food is excellent but today was the first time for Sunday lunch the food would have been great if it was not unfortunately when it arrived it was really cold

Lovely restaurant lovely atmosphere staff great I got king prawn linguine with chilli I was disappointed it had no taste couldn't taste chilli and wasn't very hot

the staff were helpful,quick to serve and welcoming,I had the fish n chips and mushy peas.The portion sizes were good but fish was too greasy /oily and mushy peas dried out

The staff were friendly but service was very slow. We waited over ten minutes before someone came to take our drinks order. Later we sat with empty glasses and tried to get the attention of the staff to order more drinks, in the end, my husband went to the bar to ask. There were also several menu choices that were unavailable. I appreciate it was busy, but there didn’t seem to be anyone in charge and taking control of the situation. There was no apology for the wait. I hope this was just a one off as I have previously had excellent service there.

Attractive pub and restaurant with the friendliest professional staff. Food was tasty and hot although had better chips. Only fault is the cost. Really rather expensive . That said, Happy to Return.

Wonderful pub, with very friendly staff. Sunday lunch was excellent with everything cooked perfectly. The minute you walk in the door it’s such a simply charming atmosphere in a wonderful old building. Will be back!!

Food was excellent. Steak was cooked to perfection. Happy with the service . Staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely go back again. Black Forest plant pot dessert was wonderful. It was great to see a dessert menu that didn’t have ice cream with everything.

We often eat at a different “Vintage Inn” pub. We ate at the Snowy Owl for a change as we were travelling a different route. We were disappointed at their inflexibility over the menu. The vegetarian options are a bit limited. I asked if some different vegetables (that were listed elsewhere on the menu) could be added as pizza toppings. Apparently this was impossible(!) (And apparently that came direct from the chef…) We were disappointed.

The food was lovely but when you serve up I think you need to clean around your sauce boats etc for a better representation on the plate I also don’t think the waiters should reach over to hand you your meal they should go behind that person so your tables need to be a bit further apart for this to happen otherwise enjoyed will be coming back many thanks

We were warmly welcomed, shown to our table, given enough time to settle in, have a chat and chose our menu. The food came hot and on hot plates. It was generous helpings and delicious. We weren't rushed and thoroughly enjoyed it all. We gave a generous tip and booked for another date. Unfortunately I forgot to book the yum code to get the offer. Could this be added please. Thank you.

The restaurant is lovely and spacious, the food choices really good and what we chose was delicious. I got total food envy at the pizza my friend had. Service was slightly slow but the area we sat in was busy. Thank you for a lovely evening.
