10/10Noon booking on a Sunday. As it was early I thought we would have to wait a while for our food, but no, service was quick and food delicious.

9.5/10It wasn’t busy but that didn’t worry us . The table was booked for 2.45pm . Nice welcome, food was good , service was good too! It was a good experience we will return.

10/10Visited on Father’s Day so clearly a busy one for them. Exceptional speedy service and delicious food! Enjoyed a few post dinner drinks in the sunshine in their large beer garden outside too. Would highly recommend!

4/10The child’s chicken roast the child couldn’t chew it. The roast potatoes weren’t remotely crispy. Child’s huge lump of carrot and parsnip totally unsuitable for a child. The vegetarian salad bowl was very good but meal spoilt by the roasts

8/10Friendly welcome and bought menus and water for the table very quickly. Plenty of choice on the menu. The food arrived in a reasonable time and was all cooked well. Attentive staff during the meal and easy to get their attention when we wanted to order desserts.

10/10Visiting our Daughter we pre booked a table for 7 in the bar area as we had our dog with us. Service was impeccable ! The lads couldn’t do enough for us. The food quality was exceptional, we had Sunday lunches, fish and chips and burgers followed by pavlovas, cookies with ice cream, chocolate bomb and brownies. Lots of choice ! Water and a biscuit for our dog. We wouldn’t hesitate to visit again. Thanks

9/10Wonderful food and attentive, friendly staff. Can’t fault any of that. Clean and warm. BUT, really spoilt by the music. Too brash. Made me not want to return for any evening meal.

10/10Excellent menu, service and atmosphere. I asked to be in a slightly quieter part of the restaurant instead of the table suggested, and this was no problem for the staff who happily obliged. A great celebration meal.

8/10We all had fish dishes, which were good and presented well. One of the nonalcoholic cocktails was not available, which was a shame as there aren’t that many options to choose from if you don’t drink Coke . The staff were friendly. It was tricky to get their attention at times but we were not in a rush. We had a 50% off main course offer which made it a really good deal.

9/10Really enjoyed our food and the steak was cooked to perfection for my husband. The sauce that was served with the fish cakes was delicious, would definitely have that dish again. Service was slightly slow but the staff apologised and it did not spoil our evening.

10/10Very quiet inside restaurant, obviously due to Covid, but was so nice to have pick of tables and food arrived very quick due to being quiet. Lovely brie starter, followed by dirty burger. Excellent and very nice. Overall great night with glass of house red, which was light and fruity.

10/10The Spring is a great pub/ restaurant in Ewell. Been here many times and it never disappoints. Good food choice, great drinks menu and friendly staff.

6/10Food and ambiance were good and staff were polite and as attentive as they could be but we waited 1 hour and 45 mins for our mains! I understand there was some kind of issue and we were offered free drinks but wait time is always long here. Management should consider few covers as they clearly cannot cater for the numbers they think they can.

7/10Food was nice, but not outstanding, with an okay vegetarian/vegan selection. Staff were friendly and helpful, but very busy. Restaurant was very loud, so difficult to hear, and especially hard for anyone with hearing difficulties, but overall a pleasant evening.

8/10Only negative was that we were in a hurry and it was very busy, so after 20 minutes of failing to get anyone’s attention, I had to go find someone to ask for our order to be taken. Everything else was good - friendly service, good food and drinks, reasonable prices.

5.5/10Too many people were being let in. We were sat by the door so we constantly had people standing around us whilst we wanted to eat. There were not enough members of staff so it took ages for our order to be taken and the food to come. The food was great, but we had to leave without dessert because no one came to our table.
