10/10its simple, easy to park, welcoming host, table were we wanted it, great selection of food, attentive staff, served to perfection, never rushed, slick and sure. Third time in four months and is our place to go love it

A beautifully laid out restaurant that is spacious/light and welcoming. We were warmly greeted and shown to a table. The team had read the booking notes and made every effort to accommodate us - which they did successfully. The food was outstanding in appearance, portion size and flavours. Similarly service (thank you Bess and team) was exemplary. Just the perfect amount of care and attention without feeling smothered. I look forward to returning with both friends and family.

10/10A few times I have been here with my friends, very friendly and helpful staff, lovely atmosphere and great food. Came here last night with a friend that we havent seen each for 6 years, what made it special was she came all the way from southeast asia and only in London for transit for one night. A member of staff made sure we were looked after which made our experience extra special. thank you.

10/10We had a wonderful afternoon. The food was superb, the staff were warm and friendly, especially our lovely waitress, Magda. We love the decor and the ambiance. I’m planning to return with my cousin in August . I know she will love it !!

8.5/10We had brunch on Sunday. The eggs Benedict and the avocado salmon sandwich were well prepared. The service was a little slow but the views of the canal were relaxing.

5/10Pre pepared food, served quick, seafood restaurant food should be fresh, oysters were opened in advance and dead, its a shame i did not return them, scallops dry. I expected to pay high but was let down by the food quality.

9/10What a lovely restaurant on the water. An intimate setting perfect for dates or dinners with friends. Great service, staff who are extremely friendly and accommodating. Can’t wait to return!!

10/10I took my partner here today for his birthday. What can I say, the lovely lady that greeted us was just wonderful!! She accommodated our every need, giving a wonderful table in what we believed was the perfect spot. The food was exceptional and the staff were attentive and extremely professional and the restaurant itself was so picturesque. We will definitely return and recommend The Summerhouse to others. Thank you so much for everything. ????

10/10I've visited previously but it was a first for my 5 friends. They were all very pleased and commented on your staff. We will come again in the Spring/Summet for lunch so that they can appreciate the ambiance. Thank you and a merry Christmas and Hapoy New Year to you all. Coral

7.5/10It's a very nice location overlooking the Paddington Arm canal. We booked well in advance (3 weeks) and requested a window table and indeed we got the last one which was a good indication of attention to detail. In warm weather the open windows and hedgerow sills give the restaurant a particularly nice ambience. It was somewhat cold and windy on our evening so it did feel a little uncomfortable at times, even with the plastic window rolled down. The food was very nice and the portions adequate; overall it was very good value for London. The service was less attentive; the welcome was good but our waiter was somewhat surly and kept coughing behind me (maybe it was a bad evening for him) and it took ages to get our bill. But on balance, we'd recommend it.
