9/10We ordered far too much as we weren't expecting the food to be such large portions. Every item ordered was beautifully presented and delicious. Loved the little tea pot too. Will definitely return for more eel. 😃

9/10Good service. Friendly staff. The food was tasty and very nicely presented. The only reason I marked down the decor was because it felt a bit clinical and fast foody, the complete opposite of the lovely presentation of the food!

9/10It’s a little place near Waterloo station. The food was nice and fresh and the staff was very accommodating when I asked substitute rice with some vegetables. The only thing that made me a bit uncomfortable is the entrance door that would not close properly and it was very cold outside. It was a busy time for lunch take away and we had to close the door ourselves several times to keep warm.

6.5/10Tasty food, but they didn't know what the Fork is and how it actually works. I needed to show them the app to get the discount. We ordered two meals but they counted us for three and refused to give us a refund. Finally, they offered us one free product from the menu

6/10Good quality fish. Rice OK but a little less smooth than it should be for good sushi. Rather basic interior. Friendly staff but they failed to register my visit so I got a mail from the Fork saying I didn't visit when I did in fact go. All in all a rather disappointing experience.

5/10We chose this since one of our party is a coeliac and sushi places tend to have plenty of variety for people on gluten-free diets. The waiter checked with the chef and it appeared that the menu had v few gluten-free options (we're not sure where the gluten was coming from unless it's in their sauces). The sushi itself was ok and the price was fair. We booked through The Fork and they acknowledged this on arrival but we received a 'you didn't show up' message later so they didn't confirm this with The Fork. Our booking had a 30% off offer which they didn't apply automatically. I only remembered after we left - I'm sure they would have applied it if we'd asked though. The staff were friendly and helpful. This is a predominantly a takeaway with a few tables, it's not a restaurant. It might be good if you just want a quick bite but I wouldn't recommend it for coeliacs.

6/10Really good fresh sashimi to start, very average mains. Very little ambience & heavy rock music playing loud which really didn’t fit the type of cuisine and venue. Staff pleasant enough but felt very much like a chain.

4.5/10The food is lovely but one of the members of our party is a celiac. We asked for gluten free options and they told us what she could have. When the food came she started to eat it and after they mentioned it wasn't actually gluten free so they took it away and made her something else. They really need to take allergies seriously.

6/10It has the feel of a fast-food cafe rather than a restaurant. Which is fine if that’s what you’re after. Except that the food doesn’t come that quickly so some waiting at your table is required. This was spoilt by two things. Firstly, the frequent passage of food delivery drivers in and out of the restaurant. Secondly, the tendency of them, and some guests to leave the front door open on their way in or out. It was a cold evening and every time this happened the temperature inside dropped considerably! The staff didn’t seem bothered and on two occasions I had to jump up and close it myself. Maybe get a door that closes automatically? The service was OK but I wasn’t sure to what extent the staff really understood the menu or would have been able to explain it to someone new to Japanese food.
