It was very noisy. A lot of people crammed into a small area. Most of the food was excellent, but I found the meat a little dry. I liked the mash, aioli and chips. The olives were nice but I would have preferred to use a cocktail stick rather than a fork.

We visited around 1400 on a Sunday. Initial impressions were good, the place was clean, had an ok atmosphere and we were greeted and seated straight away. The table was very tight to the table next to us and ourselves and the other guests had to move the tables to make enough space to sit comfortably. Food and drink order was taken promptly. The food was good, but marred by not being particularly hot, not cold, but cool enough that we all asked each other if the food was hot enough. Extra drinks were ordered with the meal, but never arrived, but also not charged for. Hopefully our experience was one of as though the food tasted good, the service and portion certainly didn’t justify the price.

Lovely gastro pub, great service, really enjoyed our food. My alcohol free cocktail exceeded my expectations. The mini desserts with hot drinks are perfect. Glad I discovered this place!

Go to The Swan regularly and never disappointed. New menu this time with lots more options than previously. Food was excellent and service was outstanding with a very helpful and attentive waiter.

Lunch on Friday ... Super menu ...Loads of Choice ! ... All very good, Service a little slow .... I think there was only 1 waitress on duty, but I think it was the kitchen that was a tad slow ! food, when it came was very enjoyable. had we been informed of delays/ slowness it would have helped a bit ..... overall a good meal

Food and atmosphere were lovely they let me try the wine at the bar so we could order the right one - which was a nice touch. My husband is veggie and I thought that maybe a few more veggie options would be good as he doesn't eat fish.

The server did her best but overall the service was poor as they were understaffed. We had to remind her for glasses for the Prosecco and go to the bar to fetch a drink for our granddaughter. The food selection was poor as there were no fish or burgers and sticky toffee pudding. The server did not tell us this prior to ordering. The roast chicken was luke warm and the crime caramel ice cold. The attitude of the manager was poor. We were not shown to our table just told that it was at the top of the stairs. We were told off for carrying the buggy with a sleeping baby up the stairs. What else could we do and no offer of help. The state of the toilets was disgusting. One was blocked, the hand dryer was not Woking and the manager did not seem interested when I told him. Overall very disappointing as this was a family event celebrating 4 birthdays.
