8/10The refurbishment is great, but in certain places the draft from the front door makes it cold which is not nice when having a meal

7/10Once our main meals were cleared we were completely abandoned by the waiting staff. We were not asked if we needed more drinks or offered the dessert menu, it eventually became too late for us to stay for desserts. A more attentive service would probably have increased our bill by another £100, disappointing for us and a financial loss for The Swan.

10/10Free parking, nice welcome and friendly staff. Had a lovely birthday lunch there and it’s mid way between Northampton and Hemel so will be meeting my friends again there in 2025

7.5/10The Sunday roast lunch was well cooked and tasty. However, the food was not very hot, although i acknowledge i do like my food straight from oven to table, and for others it might have had adequate heat The new decor adds to the mbience, but again however, we were seated away from the main crowd and it felt we had been ostracised from the rest pf the restaurant, and it was also cold.

10/10Great atmosphere, friendly staff, exceptional service whereby I had asked for cream in my dessert and because they didn’t have any the staff went out especially to buy some so I could have it with my dessert. Amazing would highly recommend.

10/10Lovely evening at The Swan as always. Dinner with my brother before he flew back to Australia, you made his last UK meal memorable. Food was delicious, steak perfectly cooked. Friendly & helpful service, thanks Natalie for giving us your time and recommendations! See you soon x

9/10We had a lovely time. There was a person singing and the music was quite loud so everyone was talking louder than normal. The service was pretty good overall. The food we couldn’t fault. If there was one thing we could mention was the miniature crumble should have had a bit of custard or cream as very dry otherwise. We would go back. 😁

10/10The service was spot on, food came out fresh & very tasty! I ordered the Rib Eye steak and was in love from the first bite! Always a very satisfying experience! Will be back again. This was my husband and my 4th time here because the delicious food is so memorable!! Love the food & staff & ambiance was just perfect! Thank you for a wonderful experience

6.5/10The food at the Swan is great with very good service, we went for the wine and dine for £100 offer, which was great value. Sadly let down by the very noise bar and we won’t go back for this reason.

5/10As a local like being able to walk to the swan The waitress was lovely bless her even the manager who kept apologising as it was a terrible delay Camembert was undercooked but the lovely bread made up for it Main meal very nice just too long a wait

10/10We were greeted promptly and shown to a well placed table. The restaurant was clean and well set out. The service was excellent and all the staff were friendly and professional. The meal was presented in good time and very tasty. The waiter was very accommodating and was even able to offer an alternative to one of the dishes, which was very acceptable. Will recommend the whole establishment without any reservations.

5/10Food was average/ok but we had a bottle of wine which was placed in an ice bucket and left at the table. It wasn’t opened for us or poured, we were left to do that ourselves, which we thought was poor. The wine itself wasn’t very good, we paid £28 for an Albariño, maybe we shouldn’t have expected any more?
