Very nice afternoon tea.
Very enjoyable afternoon. Decor and setting were very inviting. Staff looked after us very well. Menu was improved from our previous visit. They even catered flawlessly for our varied dietary requirements. Will be coming back. It is just a great experience.
The kids tea was so fun, my children, ages 8 and 10, loved it. They got their own tea pots with their choice of tea. The food was presented in a fun way. They felt very fancy.
We had a lovely indulgent afternoon tea with unlimited prosecco. The venue was excellent, and it felt very special. All the staff were very attentive and helpful and answered all our questions. We were celebrating a special birthday and the extra cake with the piped Happy Birthday message was really appreciated. The food was all of an extremely high standard; the sandwiches had a range of interesting and delicious fillings, the hot scones were delicious and the indulgent cakes were suitably wicked.
Overall service and experience were excellent, went with my 15 month old son and the staff were very attentive and accommodating. The selection of tea and treats were all very good and we never felt rushed.
I did book afternoon at St.Ermins as a birthday present for my mother in law and having been there a few years ago I thought we mustn't be in for an amazing experience. However it has changed (or not) since visiting last time. The decor looked very dated and returb would do the tea lounge good. The tabl cloth under the glass was dirty and it just looked very old. Service was nice but not very knowledgeable The food was ok but again not as nice as I remembered it Overall £45 is not the value for money I was hoping for - very disappointing.
Afternoon tea was delicious - additional sandwiches were brought on request and the prosecco was certainly free-flowing. Service was fantastic. My friends and I very much enjoyed our time here.
Amazing service from start to finish Food was stunning Would have liked a bit more bubbles but in all can’t fault a really afternoon
Excellent afternoon tea experience for the entire family. Little one especially enjoyed decorating his own ginger bread man. Staff & service were all excellent.
Lovely service, superb food. Everything tasted beautiful and was excellent value for money. The best afternoon tea we've had in London.
Fantastic experience. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Good sandwich selection, lovely Christmas themed "cakes" and small scones were perfect. But the icing on the cake was unlimited prosecco - very free-flowing.
I took myt grandson for a 7th birthday treat. His Mum and little sister came too. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The tea was lovely and more than enough. My only comment is that they could offer a box to take leftover cakes home
The tea served was very good, as were the sandwiches and scones. However, the patisserie, although beautiful, was overly sweet with too much cream and we could not eat them all.
Scrumptious afternoon tea in lovely surroundings
Afternoon tea with kids
Great location , Great staff and incredible food . I recommend going on a empty stomach
I have visited the Tea Lounge on many occasions, always a treat
It was a great experience overall, but had a bit of a rocky start. We were stuck in terrible traffic, and I called to let the restaurant know that, and they told me it was no problem at all. I was a little surprised by the annoyance of the host when we finally did arrive 30 minutes late. We were flustered, and he gave me a bit of a hard time about not being clear that we wanted a child's tea along with the 3 adults (more on that in the booking service section). He said it needed to be ordered in advance, which I understood, but he just seemed annoyed, so I was annoyed too! He came back and told me it was fine, and when my son was served and I noticed that the food was not all that different to the adults' food, I just thought the whole bit was unnecessary. It's a luxury experience that we're paying a lot for, he is a child, we were already harried from running all over town, why give me a hard time? Luckily, the experience turned around after that. We opted for the unlimited rose with our tea, and the servers always made sure our glasses were full. The same host that seemed annoyed at first soon softened and was incredibly kind to us for the rest of the time we were there. The food itself was so special, and so unique, and so rich! It doesn't seem like it's going to be a ton of food but we couldn't possibly finish it all between the 4 of us over 2 hours. That felt decadent and worth every bit of the cost. We loved the scones with clotted cream and jam the most! My son didn't love his meal and preferred the adults' sandwiches -- but he is picky so I wouldn't fault the restaurant for that. The bee situation was a bit disappointing. I'd been talking about the 300,000 bees to my son -- and at 4.5 years old, he was way more interested in that than in a fancy meal -- but it is really just a tiny patio and there was not a bee in sight.
Lovely hotel, food very good you certainly won’t go hungry, tea small selection but very nice, quite sweet cakes but overall would recommend.
Great experience and knowledgable wait staff
