7/10We had the vegan afternoon tea. The sandwiches did not taste of anything at all and the cakes were very dry. So, we are not vegan any longer from now on. The teas tasted fantastic and the service was very friendly. Environment excellent 🙂

10/10We tried 3 different types of tea. My favorite was the fruit tea. Sandwiches and pastries were fine nothing to rave about. It was a little pricey for the afternoon tea but I guess the ambience deserve the high price.

10/10My friend and I had reservations at 1:30pm for tea during our first visit to London. We got lost and ended up a half hour late. The staff were so accommodating and got a table ready for us right away. The tea service was lovely with pretty china, delicious finger sandwiches and desserts. We each tried 3 different teas from their menu which were also wonderful (I especially enjoyed the St Ermin’s blend). We finished with scones, jam and clotted cream which were amazing. The staff provided dairy free options for me since I have an allergy and the food was prepared beautifully and tasted great! The price was mid-range as compared to other places we looked into. Be sure to try this English tradition at St Ermin’s when you visit London. You won’t be disappointed!

6/10We were not offered refills of sandwiches or tea something I’ve never experienced in other comparable venues. No butter with the scones. Small pre-measured servings of cream. Sandwiches were meagre and a bit dry.

6.5/10The ambience was very nice and service was good. We foubd the food lacking. Tge sandwiches lacked taste and they all seemed to be too similar. I only enjoyed 1 of the 5 pastries, the others were not very good in taste or texture. The scones and tea were quite good.

10/10+2My wife and i already had several afternoon tea in London. We would rate St Ermin‘s as one of the best. Sandwiches, Pastries and scones are extraordinary, staff and Service is very helpful and friendly and just there when you need them. The environment in the tea Lounge is an eye opener

10/10Decor and ambience of the tea room was lovely and it's located in a very nice hotel. Service was top notch, I believe our server was named Leah and she was lovely. The tea was of high quality. The amount of food was generous, we packed some to bring home. The sandwiches were good (but not to say special), the sweets were all excellent and the scones were served warm at the end and were very moist. At the price I think it is decent value for afternoon tea in London and I would return. To me it was on par with fortnum and mason but far less crowded and pretentious. We visited on a weekday afternoon.

8/10Staff were very friendly. We were taken aback when we were not taken to a regular height dining table in the dining room. Instead, we were seated by the dining room entrance, at a round coffee table near the host’s desk! There was a lot of room in the dining room so we still wonder why we were seated in a walkway, where we could hear the conversations between staff. The food was good but not exceptional. Having experienced other afternoon teas, presentation was nice but I would not revisit this venue.

10/10This is such a charming tea lounge. They had a great selection of teas and they all tasted really good. The sandwiches and treats were beautifully presented and very tasty. The staff was super friendly and attentive. We would definitely come here again.

10/10We were visiting London from the United States and I wanted to take my friend's to a proper Afternoon Tea. Everyone had an excellent time. The food was delicious. The hotel was spectacular. I would highly recommend coming here.

7/10We booked for 4 at 4pm on Wednesday 20th March. The afternoon tea and the staff were very good but by an hour and a half had passed (although I had not long ordered another pot of tea which I didn’t get to finish) we were asked to leave and within a couple of minutes the staff were standing behind us with our coats. It completely spoiled our afternoon and I was quite upset. I was notified that we would be in the restaurant but if we had been told beforehand that we would be ushered out sharply because the staff had to prepare the restaurant for the evening meals we would have reconsidered or at least booked a little earlier. I look forward to hearing your comments.

10/10The Tea Lounge at St Ermin’s is one of my favourite places for afternoon tea in London. Beautiful hotel, retaining many original features in the lounge creating a wonderful original experience. The staff are very efficient and friendly and the food was absolutely excellent. It’s especially lovely at Christmas, very pretty.
