Very good
Was waiting an hour for the Tableservice staff to come over and take my order and ended up going home on my anniversary. They just need to check to see if anyone wants a drink or anything to improve as I looked at them and they just smiled
The staff were welcoming and friendly but it took far to long to get served. We had to wait about an hour before food came and though we were there for several hours we didn’t get a chance to order any 2nd courses. Also it being the terrace, it was to cold to stay outside for too long though there were heaters available, which sadly were not turned on.
I did booked to eat at The terrace Exeter, for the there main menu, called King prawn linguine, which i found on the online menu, but the actual menu, it is not included. Very disappointing. The main menu available, is not good at all. So, i decided to leave and not to order at all. The welcome ambiance not great as well. They will accompany you on the table ang gjven the menu paper which is not inviting at all. The card reader apparently not working. When i call the waitess and ask about the king prawn linguine, she just said whatever is in the menu are the only available and turn her back.
Outstanding food, excellent service and best ambience in Exeter town. Kim looked after us and was amazing with her customer service. I was in Exeter for 7 days and it was my best dinner out.
Food was amazing. Pizza was massive for the £8.50 price point and tasted great. Great cocktails. Service was a bit off at times due to a very busy evening. But apart from that it was a great experience. P.s. if you are looking for a quite place to eat, the terrace may not be the place for you due to the music and atmosphere in a busy restaurant. For some people this would put you off completely.
The food was disappointing. Cauliflower wings were overcooked with a tasteless mushy centre. The chicken burger was bland and uninteresting with the brioche bun disantegrated after a couple of bites. Loaded fries was OK, but pull brisket topping was chewy, again overcooked. Dessert Black Forest Pavlova was very disappointed, full of artificial cream and cheat chocolate sauce, sour cherries was tasteless.
Roast wasn’t cooked properly and missing Yorkshire puddings
Was a lovely afternoon having lunch with friends, great new menu which we tried and was really nice what we had.
If you want to wait 2 hours for food I’m an empty restaurant to then be served the incorrect order, make sure to book up Terrace. For the most incredibly awful service and management.
One poor waitress run off her feet. Kitchen in chaos. It took 45 mins to tell us that they had run out of one starter and another 30 mins to tell us they had run out of the replacement starter. Manager kindly did not charge us our bar bill as we had to leave to find somewhere else to eat!
