10/10Service with a smile from a friendly lady. Good sized portions served quickly but not too quickly to feel rushed. Only complaint would be their pie is not a pie. It is a dish with a pastry lid - shame. Had fish and chips, excellent batter.

9.5/10Thames Court provided a warm welcome and friendly service, allowing us time to select our dinner without pressure. Delicious, freshly made food arrived promptly, and plenty of it. With Starters, main course, drinks and top-ups, our bill was very reasonably priced, around £30 per head with tip. Good value, thank you.

6/10We haven't been to the Thames Court in a while, so I was very disappointed at the quality of the food. Yes I know prices have jumped but seriously a bowl with 1 ladle of soup in it with warmish good soup is not value for money at that price. The main was also warm not hot which meant that the topping on the chicken schnitzel was rather congealed. I won't be coming back any time soon. I have been many times over the last 21 years for special occasions and for good meal, which was why I was highly disappointed last week. It is the first time I have ever left a negative review as I would usually just not go back, but because I have always enjoyed going, I felt that I should say something. I did compare prices with other similar places like the Barley Mow in Englefield Green, so I know that prices are ridiculous now. I think that I would honestly rather just order takeaway than ruin my dining out experience at the Thames Court again. Simply not value for money. Sorry 😞

9/10Today I thought o would try their Pie. It was a choice of roast beef, vegetable wellington or the pie! I am really glad I chose the pie. An enormous puff pastry lid with an absolutely delicious beef and ale inner. Must be one if the best pies I have ever eaten. Really tender. Loved it

9.5/10We hadn’t been for a little while. We last went as a family booking for Christmas. My wife chose the fish both last time and this time. Sea Bass. Last time it was definitely over cooked and hard, not very nice! This time a completely perfectly cooked Sea Bass. She thoroughly enjoyed it. I had the Lamb. Very good. Very attentive staff. Many families in this day, but to me that’s a great sign. Really enjoyed our meals. Thank you Oh lovely Fentimens ginger beer.

10/10We found this pub by chance and booked a table when approx 10minutes away.As soon as we walked in it looked like the right choice,plenty of room and the staff looked happy.There were 3 adults and a 4year old and straight away after sitting down the 4year old was given crayons and paper to keep her occupied.The food was lovely and not overpriced the choice of drinks was great I'll definitely be returning,if not just to see the lovely manager ( l think)

9/10All three of us had the haddock fish cakes and we all cleared our plates! The broccoli was very "en dante" we didn't mind! We've been here a few times and always enjoyed ourselves! It's not cheap but probably because ifs such a lovely location

5/10The service was a little on the slow side - about 50mins for main course to arrive and the two of the four meals had cold veg on. One plate we sent back and that was returned hot as we finished two of the other three meals. The food was nice when had it. I hadn't been there for many years and it was very busy, perhaps with not enough staff on. We might try again on a quieter night.

6/10Food took an hour and 15 minutes to arrive although we were made aware about the wait, it's still a very long time to wait for food. Food was luke warm when served. Staff were great.

8.5/10Beautiful location on the river, parking is a bit of a mission on a nice day. Sunday lunch was nice but not very warm, staff so nice did not like to cause a fuss.

9.5/10Really busy and the booking from the formal actually couldn’t be accommodated BuT that didn’t stop the busy staff in a very busy pub finding us a table and serving us with smiles and humour. Lovely setting and a real mix of ages in there .. between the three of us we had a pie, a roast and a nourish bowl and all three of us loved our meals. All very tasty. Definitely will be back and can’t wait to make use of the outdoor space when the sun shines! Hidden gem

5/10We booked for an inside table by the window as we had my step father with us who is 89. This was confirmed but when got there on time we were told all the tables by the window were taken . So we had to go outside to eat. The food took 30/45 minutes to reach us. To many guests and not enough staff. Very poorly run

8.5/10Service was excellent, however on this occasion one of the mail meals was below expectations - chicken and pancetta pie. The crust had risen but there was less than adequate filling and the accompanying carrots were undercooked.

8/10I go to Thames Court about every couple of months and monitor the reviews. Of late the reviews have not been that good, mainly stating the the food is microwaved and not heated up thoroughly enough and that the service is slow because of lack of staff. My last visit and today's had no such problems. On both occasions we were seated immediately on a table of our choice (I did take the trouble to book in advance). The welcoming waitress was polite and professional, drinks order was taken and served with a reasonable time as was the food order. Both were of an expected standard and no complaints with the quality of the food, price or service. Will be visiting again.

10/10Very cosy, warm and clean. Excellent speedy service and very friendly and caring attitude. Excellent value and very tasty food and drink. Great place during the summer months as there are lots of tables with a lovely river view.

10/10Vanusa was our waitress and she was fabulous! Attentive, professional and friendly and went the extra mile too! Efficient but gave that personal service too. It was my birthday and she made us all feel very special.

10/10Excellent service, great food , lovely round table for the 6 of us with views over The Thames. Hannah our waitress was absolutely brilliant, each of us arrived separately she was there on hand to offer drinks every time. Lovely pleasant girl even with a v busy restaurant very efficient no waiting for us.

3.5/10We found that the food was rather over priced and disappointing. I had the sirloin and chip's and my partner had the beef bourguingnon. The food did not meet the expectation after having seen the prices. The sirloin was rather small with a small portion of chip's and 3 average onion rings for £18.25 with the peppercorn sauce. The beef bourguingnon cost £16.50 on a small dollop of mash and 3 slices of carrots. I would have been happy to pay £13 for each dish that was received but only if it would come with vegetables. I'm not sure if I would choose to eat here again. This is a great shame because I have had many great experiences here before. But first day out of lockdown and having been with out a restaurant for so long i feel I didn't miss anything. The staff were friendly though and sadly the food let down the service.
