My partner was not happy with butternut squash and chickpea burger, it was over cooked and felt like just cooked in a deep fat fryer. We were sat in an area that was dirty, floor and seats covered in crumbs. Felt like shoved in a back area. I personally liked our server, nice guy with a bit of comedy. My lamb was delicious thank you.

As well as the great food. Sanchia made the evening very enjoyable. She was very attentive and I could see she was dealing with a large number of tables so she was on the go all evening. Please thank her for us.

There was abit of a wait between food. For example we had finished our food and the plates were there for awhile and waiting for desert. The main disappointment was we were cold!. There was a sign next to the fire that saylid please ask a member of staff to light the fire. We asked but was told no as it needs to be serviced. The sign must be removed as it's misleading and could atleast put the radiator on!. We were shivering throughout our meal. It was evening and the sun had gone down, its the end of October and up the mountain. Definitely needed to be warmer!.

The place is bucolic and immersed in a quiet country area with really nice views. The interiors are as beautiful as the outside and matching the vibes of the secluded cottage you have when you arrive. The food is good, the prices are fair and the service is kind and fairly fast.

Lovely evening, delicious food and the service was excellent. Our waitress (apologies I don’t recall her name) was fantastic, nothing was too much trouble and she was so friendly. Wouldn’t hesitate to come back and would also visit the Plymouth Arms as I am aware the staff were covering from there due to a works night out.

Food was excellent and worth the money and although the starters were served quite quickly the main courses took over an hour and a half from The time we arrived and had to be requested 3 times which really spoiled the otherwise great experience

Hey, usually the food is absolutely superb, but this time I must admit, we had the lamb and it was really tough, plus , no scallops and no mustard, not good really, so we were abit disappointed. The waitress was lovely, really fab, but just a shame the food let us down, first time ever, but we do love it there, its a stunning restaurant ❤️

The food was reasonable, however despite advertising vegan cheese with the vegan burger there was no vegan cheese available - disappointing par for the course when it comes to vegan options generally The service was good and the atmosphere in the pub was okay

Found the food quite tasteless, particularly the fish cakes. No fish taste to them ,overcooked to the point of being crumbly. We were unfortunate seated close to child having a really bad temper tantrum that the parents couldn’t resolve. I understand the establishment has no control over such things. I do think however some action might have been taken over two very unruly barking dogs that set this little child off in the first place. I’m a dog owner but would not expect other people to put up with incessant barking. All in all a disappointing and nerve jangling experience. Ps. The staff were delightful and very efficient.

We ordered beef but it was literally rare and the waiter said that is cooked to standard but we weren't asked how we wanted it cooked as you usually only get asked that with steak so when it came out practically raw we unfortunately had to send it back and chose the turkey instead which was lovely I think you need to specify how you want your beef cooked on a Sunday roast especially if like us you can't it it raw

Had a very nice evening. There was a mistake on our order, but it was quickly and efficiently dealt with. The food was OK... all the dishes we ordered (Salmon, chicken and lamb) could have done with more accompanying vegetables.
