8.5/10Very quiet service made for lack of atmosphere. Service friendly. The battered haddock and triple cooked chips were the best I'd had in a very long time; delcious light batter, almost tempura, with the whitest fish, beautifully cooked and PROPER chips, crispy on the outside, fluffy inside.

10/10What a way to spend a Sunday ! I went for my birthday this year and the staff acknowledged it , sadly they didn’t for my friend , as it was her birthday and I mentioned it when I booked, never the less it was a lovely lunch

10/10truly delighted to find this restaurant so close to home. the heavy traffic outside makes this gem easy to overlook and the parking is a challenge but worth such a small inconvenience. we will be returning often and soon and particularly amazed by the wine list (it'll be an uber next time)

8/10Incredible food and drink but it was let down by the waitress who wasn't very knowledgeable about the dishes which was a shame but the overall experience was great

10/10Great food and what a surprise there was live music! This was the second time we went there and will definitely go back again FABULOUS!!! Staff were very friendly and helpful altogether great night.

5.5/10Just a bit disappointing at a number of points: 1/I ordered Prosecco as a pre dinner drink - it arrived in a standard wine glass which didn’t feel right. 2/ it was my husband’s birthday - at the start of the meal I asked if it was possible to get a birthday pudding / plate. The member of staff I spoke to said this was fine. It was forgotten 3/ my husband requested a cocktail that was off menu - which were advised was fine to do. The bar staff then said unfortunately they could not do the requested cocktail (penicillin ) 4/ my Ristto was “ok” 5/ the apple crumble was again ‘ok’ - a bit too chunky / dry on the crumble. We use a Gordon Ramsay recipe at home - it is honestly superior. 6/ I accept it was Sunday lunch day but the broccoli my son and husband had was certainly not al debate - and was a bit yellowed andalmost soggy
