10/10Food was excellent … freshly prepared salad and superb chips. First class lunch. Good service from cheerful, helpful staff member. Lovely ambience with a real log fire. Exceptional pub.

10/10We had our family xmas get together ay the wagon and horses in radlette, what a lovely evening, food and services was excellent, most welcoming and xmas atmosphere was fantastic

10/10We arrived at this inn with our children but given the time the kitchen was closed. Despite this they made us sit down and order. Very fast, everything was delicious, even the pasta that for Italians to eat in England seems a contradiction and instead we were surprised. Warm and welcoming environment, recommended.

10/10We went for a birthday meal on a weekday night and the service from Harry was great. He was pretty much the only person serving that day it seemed but handled everything incredibly well. The food was great and in particular the mixed grill platter was really good. They even played a birthday song and the staff came over with the cake to sing happy birthday which was a lovely touch

7.5/10I requested gluten and milk free. The waiter handed us menus with letters after each item on the menu, i.e. Burger (G) The waiter said that meant it was gluten free. I said it’s far more likely the symbol means it contains gluten, but the waiter insisted it meant it was gluten free. We asked what the other letters meant - (M) (D) (C) (Ce) (E) (SS) - the waiter said he didn’t know and the menu didn’t state what they meant. The menu needs to be clear about the allergens and the waiting staff need to be trained about allergens. I would return if they sorted this out.

8.5/10What made our experience memorable was that it was at The Waggon & Horses which dates back to the 16th century with the actual building itself dating back to the late 15th century when it was apparently a cottage according to the internet. Absolutely love English history which we are lucky to have in abundance!

8.5/10Hari was the star of the show. He did so much I almost questioned if was also cooking the food in the kitchen too. The food was good, we were very well looked after and felt welcomed. Would definitely return and we hope to meet Hari again.

10/10A lovely place to eat with some lovely music too. The staff were exceptional and I can honestly say that we have never had service like this before. Welcomed on entrance and the staff went above and beyond. Curtis was brilliant and made sure everything was catered for the entire evening. Food portions were huge and this is the place to go for a nice Guinness. We will be back more often and you will not find a better pub / Restaurant around with service like this. We just wish we had visited sooner. Thank you to the staff and the chef for a great evening.
