9.5/10The food and service were extremely good although the timings from the kitchen were disjointed and food arrived at different times. Examples are two children’s meals were asked to be brought out with starters only one arrived and we had to ask for the second one which arrived late. The main course was served and a side of halloumi was missing and again we had to ask for them. The missing child’s meal was delivered a second time although no longer required. The dessert course arrived without the two children’s order of ice cream and were advised that they had to defrost it.The server was very good at apologising and chasing up the kitchen which is where the problem seemed to be.Overall the quality of their food was very good it was just the delays that were disappointing.

10/10We have been to the White Hart a number of times now and we have never been disappointed. The ambience, the food, the drink, the staff have always been excellent which is why we will be back.

6/10Pretty run of the mill pub offering an o/k menu. Nothing special to rave about.

10/10Love this pub , excellent food and service They need to make more of its history though - there should be a proper history of its connection with the Battle of Britain at the entrance as there used to be

7.5/10We had a lovely lunch and staff were excellent- I was just a bit disappointed that the 'Artesian sourdough' did not resemble a genuine sourdough- perhaps it should be relabelled!!

5.5/10Visit here at least three times a year and normally very good. Food this time disappointing. Stodgy, dry risotto and over cooked dry sea bass. However, the restaurant came good and reduced the price by 50 pc.

9.5/10Good choice of food on the menu - we all had something different and we all thought the food was tasty and excellent. The waitress was delightful. We sat in the conservatory area, which is possibly a bit noisier than the rest of the restaurant because of the hard surfaces but all fine.

7.5/10Have been coming here for several years and now some of the furniture and carpets need a major over hall. Sunday roasts were excellent but I had the plaice (special) and was very disappointed.

5.5/10Meat pie with more pastry than meat! Pork belly just about adequate, small portion. Really poor and over priced. Waitress was pleasant. Will not be going back in the near future.

4/10I booked a table for 2 at 1pm but when we arrived we were told there was no booking in my name which is odd as I received an email first thing on Sunday morning asking me to confirm my booking which I did, I was asked who I spoke to to book the table when I said I booked on line I was told that the on line booking system is not working - we were however, found a table. The food was cold and had to go back to be reheated - I think it was served on cold plates. The beef was very rare and was so chewy I couldn't eat it. My wife had chicken which was nice but her Yorkshire pudding was cold. We have eaten here many times before and it is usually very good

10/10The only problem was that they couldn't find our Fork booking although I had an email confirming it. They had to make up a special table for us as they were full up.

7/10Great improvement from our last visit. The only thing which surprised me was our £65 bottle of wine was just plonked in front of us! All be it in a ice bucket. But no offer to taste or pour the wine.

10/10Been here a few times to eat. I live out the area but it’s worth the drive. Good quality food, nice selection of drinks and a large garden. Also molly the waitress is lovely ????

10/10The meal we had was really lovely. The feel was just right for our Xmas lunch. We had been looking forward to our Christmas Dinner and get together and everything was just as we hoped. Thank you.

7/10Very nice restaurant decorated for Christmas. However a little chilly. Also 2 families seated very near us had very noisy children, who were never asked to keep the noise down, making our conversation difficult. Although we didn't actually complain. The service was fairly slow although the place was not over busy. Also a small coffee with a little cake was expensive at £5.25 especially when we were charged another £1 for a tiny pot of custard!

8.5/10Our dinner went well, we really enjoyed our evening in the rustic restaurant and quiet Sunday evening. The service was as expected from the pub / restaurant setting, though I was disappointed that my wife could not get her chosen cod fish and chips as the waitress said they have run out of fish! That put a bit of blemish to otherwise a good meal. The roast meal which we ordered were deliciously prepared, ooze with gravy and piping hot, furthermore the portion size was generous, so that was very welcoming as we have prepared ourselves since early for a sumptuous meal. While the ambience was equally welcoming, we were seated by the window that has a bit of cold drought. And just behind where my wife sat, there was a water leakage from the ceiling which appeared to have a temporary solution with a bucket. Not what I have expected but better this than a wet puddle on the floor. Ohh the seating cushion must have taken a bit of beating as the cover had started to peel off rather horribly. It was not the best sight but it you can look past that, the overall experience was above average. I do hope the management will take drastic measure to fix the leak and re-condition the sofa to make it even more inviting before the festive season kick in. First timer from Biggin Hill

8.5/10We came today from London especially for our anniversary. We love this restaurant, have been many times, but today was really disappointing: several dishes were unavailable, unfortunately our first choices (duck and fish cakes amongst others) were not available, and a few of our favourite wines were also missing… If it had been any other restaurant local to us, we would have left. But we decided to stay and chose other dishes, which were ok. Such a disappointing meal????. Monday lunch is obviously not a good time to come, after the weekend rush and before the next food delivery… Luckily next year, our anniversary will be on a Tuesday! Call before you go to make sure your favourite choice IS available.
