7/10The Staff working were great, but unfortunately they were short staffed in various areas. One meal was under cooked and had to be replaced. Which was done and the meal refunded. Would go back.

5.5/10Very disappointed that no veg roast available for second time in a row despite asking for one to be kept for me in advance and no roast available for other guests either (all were looking forward to a Sunday roast). Nearly left to go elsewhere but hungry so stayed. Restaurant was not warm. Person serving was apologetic and very friendly and crumble pudding was scrumptious. Service was a bit slow. Toilets were a bit messy. Place seemed tired after a busy day. Not the best visit.

8.5/10I have always found The White Lion at Brownshill Green (NOT Allesley) a great place to meet and/or eat. I have been visiting for over 40 years and seen the changes. My only disappointment is that you always seem to run out of the Chicken dish and I have to choose another and usually that is Fish 'n' Chips but all in all a good place to be.

6/10new décor is really lovey and the staff were very friendly. 2 issues though. there was a dreadful smell - like drains, really disgusting not sure what that was about and one diners chips were cold. she had the gammon. were not complainers so said nothing, but compared to the other meals, they were definitely cold. having said that , would highly recommend and will be going again :)

7.5/10My friend and I go there together and have done for many years , we love the place because we can eat and chat and catch up . The service was excellent however I was a little disappointed with the food as the quantity was poor . The prices are a little higher than they have been but that is understandable but the size of the lasagna was more suited to a child

6/10Never scene the restaurant so quite! Slow service despite lack of covers. Decor showing signs of the need for a refresh. Cleanliness poor, especially the disabled toilet facility.

10/10Liz our server was great. Professional and quick. She was good rumoured and thoughtful. We all enjoyed our food and had a good time. We will be back.
