The service was fantastic. However the food lacked quality, chips were hard in the middle, and the burger bun was quite stale. The stickey toffee pudding was delicious! Overall, the food must be much much better to warrant to hefty price.

I loved the feel of the place, staff were welcoming. I had the beetroot and feta salad to begin with - could have perhaps done with a bit of balsamic (?) as it was a tad dry. I then had braised cheek - which was nice but a tad salty. The pinot was lush! Pricing was good - overall very pleased with our experience.

The place is so lovely! We had a afternoon tea (alternative) little bit disappointing, defiantly prefer the burger ones with the cupcakes - felt like you were getting your money’s worth. But the new was was very nice but wasn’t as good as the old ones! Staff were very friendly!

The food was phenomenal, service excellent and decor inspiring. 100% recommend and will be coming here more often! The food is well worth the price due to its quality and the service the staff provide, I look forward to returning! The location is unfortunate as it would be so popular in a built up area however it does give it such an exclusive character which is very exciting.

Really good food and service. Would like to see additional seating in the bar area for those residents wishing to have a drink prior to their meal.

Excellent service. Good menu choices. The butter chicken and lamb dishes were superb. The restaurant itself could have been warmer and the lighting more subdued but overall good.

We have been to Afternoon Tea here before and actually preferred the previous Afternoon Tea selection, we missed the scotch egg and mini burger items from the newer menu. In spite of this the food was good and the setting was clean and tidy. The speciality here is the savoury items, the sweet items have always been a little disappointing and in this case the ginger parkin was very dry and the scones were very small. Our server forgot to bring my pot of tea and as we were the only table filled in one part of the restaurant the servers didn't pass us that often for me to chase this up. I also expected to be offered a choice of teas but I wasn't, I simply got the standard one. A pleasant afternoon but not as good as the last time we visited.

Hi, it was nice apart from I think we were just given food for 2 when we booked for 3. There was so much, I didn’t notice at the time but we were missing every dessert ie only gave us 2 of each and the savoury stuff was a bit more mixed up but the veg option had loads more than the meat one. We ordered 1 veg and 2 meat.

Lovely, post Christmas afternoon tea with my family. The restaurant was warm and comfortable. The food was delicious, especially the crispy crackling. I had a pint of blonde which was lovely and the others had mulled wine, perfect for a cold January afternoon. The staff were friendly and the service was great. We will definitely be back.
