The food was excellent, could not fault it. However we had to wait an hour to get it! Which is not acceptable. The staff were very good and offered us complimentary olives and bread . What a shame !

A lovely personal welcome and we were shown to a lovely window table upstairs. We received great service and the food was excellent. I would thoroughly recommend the Wimborne Pig.

The food and service were fantastic. The only issue I have is paying £4.50 for a small Coca Cola and £10.25 for 125ml of Sauvignon blanc! This will put off many of my friends.

Having been going to Wimborne Pig for years it never disappoints. I go in expecting a delicious meal & that’s what I get. Best ingredients And delicious cooking from a varied menu, go there soon to have your taste buds tickled.

Kym & Jamie’s hospitality is always welcoming & friendly. The atmosphere in the restaurant is relaxed and puts you at ease. Chef Perry & the brigade serve delicious food and there’s always something a little extra to make the meal memorable. Can’t wait to go back again in the New Year.

The food was delicious - we had recommended the restaurant to our guest who was visiting. Most of service was very friendly and welcoming but the visit was a little spoilt by one member of staff who, after a query about length of time for our main meal, blamed it on one of our guests who had ordered a starter (soup - and he did wait for that). We appreciate that they were waiting for the starter to be finished before bringing the main course but she could have been a little more pleasant about it. I don’t like to be negative but I was a bit surprised as it is a lovely place to eat and would still recommend it.

On line booking for 8 was easy. We were cheerfully welcomed by our host . As we had theatre bookings we were promptly served by the efficient staff. The food was excellent and reasonably priced. A very pleasant start to our evening. We will definitely return
