7/10It was ok. Expensive for what we ate really. We have been coming here for 30 years. Portions are getting smaller and food not always warm when it arrives.

10/10From the moment we were acknowledged and taken to our table we were well looked after by Maizey and the other staff. The food was excellent and the atmosphere was nice and comfortable despite being only 2 days before Christmas. The whole place was busy but the staff were still attentive and welcoming. The food was served in a good time and was high quality. Will definitely come back and know that this is a place we will often visit in the future.

10/10We really enjoyed our meal at the Woodside restaurant. The food was excellent and the service first class. The staff were very friendly and obliging. This will not be our last visit we will return.

5/10Sunday lunch food arrived fairly quickly roast beef was tough roast potatoes very small and looked like they were frozen food was Luke warm didn't hang around for sweet and left won't be returning again

8/10Lovely place, but I've not been on a Saturday before and it was very busy and noisy compared to a week day. The menu has some lovely options, and what I have tried so far has been nice, but if you're looking for cheap pub food, this is not for you, each main is around £16 but you're looking at double that for a steak. The decor is homely and welcoming. It's clean and comfortable. Don't follow Sat nav though as you'll end up in the wrong place.

10/10Really nice pub Resurant, went at 1300 on a Saturday. Great country type atmosphere. Food and service really good all five of us really enjoyed it. Staff are brilliant

10/10Delicious meals - 1 turkey and one curried parsnip and squash wellington. Both excellent. The staff are always lovely here and very friendly without being intrusive. Lovely atmosphere, too.

8.5/10Table and surroundings were clean and had clearly been done recently. Food was realy quick to arrive and was of good quality. Service was a little slow but to be fare there was a large party in .so would we book again Definitely yes

9/10Very nice pub/ Restaurant family and singles welcome and it feels miles away from the urban sprawl even though it's just off the east Lancs. Food comes very fast and the beer is nice. Enjoy!!!
