10/10I had taken my two Granddaughters aged 11 and 7 out for dinner. We were all made to feel very welcome. The girls were asked what they would both like to drink and eat from the menu and made to feel included in the whole experience of having dinner out in a restaurant .

10/10I had Ham, eggs and chips. The chips were out of this world, never tasted anything like them. My friend had Pork Belly, which she said was really tender. Highly recommend, in fact have booked for Christmas!! Well done to everyone involved.

8.5/10I’ve been to the Worlds End several times over the years through all the different management, and to date have never had a bad meal. However, the quality of the food can vary. I ordered the Crispy Duck Salad for starter, which was absolutely delicious, and my friend and I both ordered the lambs liver on a bed of Mashed Potato and Peas, which was absolutely delicious but a bit on the tough side.

10/10Beautiful restaurant, warm and clean. Staff were polite and efficient. Food was sublime, presented well and tasted delicious. Prices are slightly more than a gastro pub however this is not microwaved fridge food. It all appears to be cooked fresh. I would say you get good value for your money.

9/10We had a table for two for lunch and the restaurant was quiet at first but a few other diners arrived later The food was lovely and very tasty. Just a couple of comments. There was no option to order extra vegetables except chips, fried onion rings etc. Not what you would put with a ‘gravy’ dinner. Also the eton mess was lovely, but disappointingly made with shop bought meringues. Service was great and the restaurant is very nice.

10/10Had Sunday lunch. We all had a roast dinner. Food was delicious,very good portion. Meat very tender, food piping hot. Had desert too. Again delicious and a good portion. Service very good. Would highly recommend.

7/10Just to pre-warn, it's worth ringing the resturant if you are dining on a certain day of the year i.e New Years Day. When I booked the table for my mum's birthday, I was not advised that it was a restricted menu. Bit of a let down for us all as there wasn't much on the set menu for my table.

6/10Today our party of four for lunch had a very average food and service experience at a premium price.We arrived with expectation for a great Christmassy feel with excellent food and service. To improve...slow service without a smile or chat!!! It's two weeks before Christmas-come on service team, spread a little cheer. Also my meal the Blade of Beef was delicious,so it should be for £19.50 but so few vegetables,charged £4.50 for more. Over cooked fish (fish and chips dish) and Turkey dinner not as good as it should have been. Overall sorry for negative feed back,but disappointed with slow, unhappy staff and underwhelming dishes.

10/10It was my husbands birthday and the first time we had selected the TWE, the food was excellent, the dining room has a relaxed atmosphere and the service was first class at all the time we were there really impressed thankyou for making our evening out memorable.

10/10We came for our 47th wedding anniversary and loved our evening. The staff were attentive in a good way. The food was great and it was lovely to see it quite busy on a very wet Wednesday evening.

9/10It was easy to book a table online. For our starters We both ordered the Tempura Calimari with Aoli and garnish, which was a little on the chewy side. Then I ordered the Seared Lambs Liver and bacon with Mash, Peas and Gravy, which was really good and my friend had the Pork Loin steak which was so thick she had to ask for a steak knife to cut it. She said it had just the right amount of salt on the steak. We were both so full after our mains, that we didn’t need a pudding.

7.5/10We were disappointed to have the restaurant prepared for the next day breakfast service whilst we were still eating. Tables and chairs were being moved. When spending £94 on a meal for two I wouldn’t expect this to happen. That said, the food was very tasty and we really enjoyed it. It was our 35th wedding anniversary and it was a shame to have a lovely meal spoilt a little by this

5/10Awful customer service, defensive rude and a very cold atmosphere. Made to wait excessively for a basic cold platter starter whilst seeing others tables who came in after us get starters and mains. Apologies half hearted and told here you go when food arrived. Beans missing off my child’s plate another wait. When we gave feedback we were met with a defensive attitude. Nash and veg on main dishes were like warm at best but good overall was good let down by awful service and response. The lady actually said are you going to listen to me ? Rather than address the issue we had what a ruined experience

+3The staff where great, but they didn’t seem to be organised by table which lead to long periods of waiting to be served and also mean throughout our meal we had every member of staff visit our table for one reason or another. The food was great went it arrived. I’d visit again.

10/10I've eaten at the World's End on a number of occasions. The food is always great quality, well presented and generously portioned. Customer service is good, attentive and happy to cater to your dietary requirements etc
