8/10Warm & cushiony seatings and aesthetics you knew and not wonder why the likes of Virginia Woolf spent time here probably getting inspiration from walkers by… Well-situated and ideal location only a little over to Covent Garden or Picadilly or Trafalgar even…very good!

Our waitress was lovely, I didn’t catch her name but she was always checking to see if we needed anything or how the food was. The food was really good and came out so fast too which was great!

6/10On the menu it states in small print 'other vegan options available on request'. When we enquired there was no other options other than those that were on menu, so that was misleading. Food was very nice but nothing spectacular. Have eaten in other Hilton hotels with better menus

3.5/10Do not expect to receive a traditional and home made tea time. Frozen products, industrial tea and not a word from the waiter to explain what you gonna eat. A tourist attraction, no more.

6.5/10The food was quite disappointing for how simple it was. I ordered soup and a Caesar salad and both were lower quality than what you can get from tesco. If it wasn’t so late and I wasn’t at tired from travelling all day, I would have probably asked for a discount considering how incredibly overpriced it was.

8.5/10The Hotel is like a little Gem within walking distance of Russell Square and surrounded by many great restaurants to choose from. I did telephone a few days before to request that a electric heater to be placed in the room on arrival which was done but wasn't working. However after a quick call to the Duty Manage on the front desk this was rectified immediately. My arrival t I was greeted with a warm welcome and my restaurant visit and suite upgrade was amazing. Big Thank you to The Assistant Restaurant Manager Glivala of Restaurant 92 who looked after me and served my dinner

8/10The venue is small but quite well furnished. The staff are lovely and professional. The food however was served warm to cold. We raised our concerns and were given a discount. Really simple things being improved in the kitchen would make a big difference here.

8.5/10This was our first Afternoon tea visit to Restaurant 92. The scones were large but exceptionally light - just as they should be. The sandwiches were delightfully fresh and the staff very helpful bringing more milk and topping up the teapots with hot water or bringing fresh pots of tea. Our waiter Bijaya was first class looking after us throughout. We will returmn.

10/10The venue was clean and contemporary, tables were set aside for afternoon tea, the waitress was very welcoming and helpful. The afternoon tea was served up beautifully presented in a half bird-cage, complete with decorative flowers and a light dusting of icing sugar. The waitress ensured we were looked after and checked in on us occasionally. It was a really nice experience

2/10My partner and I received a gift voucher for afternoon tea . We chose double tree west end and we booked to stay the night too. We gave them the activation code to redeem our tea for 2 and they wouldn’t accept it . Even though we booked via the hotel with our voucher and expected us to pay £64 between us for this afternoon tea. Wouldn’t recommend if using a gift voucher because they won’t accept it .

10/10Had a lovely relaxing afternoon tea the staff were really friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and copious amounts of tea made it an enjoyable experience. I would recommend it to anyone!!!

10/10We enjoyed the experience so much. Excellent service, scrumptious sandwiches and cakes. Plenty of coffee and tea. Very comfortable seats and the decor was amazing.

4.5/10When we came they did not have our table ready. Anyway we could not sit in the restaurant since they were painting and vacuuming and cleaning. After 20 minutes they managed to fix a table at the back/in the bar, under a television. The staff turned off the football when we asked. The food was ok, the scones were very nice. I dont think you should accept customers when you are painting and vacuuming. Paint, dust and food does not go well together. And toilets were dirty.

2.5/10I ordered for 4, when I arrived I got told they had a booking for 2. I then had to stand there embarrassed with my guests on my birthday trying to find confirmation emails. I had phoned beforehand too. My friend bought some drinks and I was then told one of the codes I had expired a year before (I bought them two days apart in August this year). I then sat for 30 mins to be shown to a table with 3 dirty plates. The cakes arrived...everything was cut on half and there were two hand made scones and the rest were shop bought. It was a disaster and we had to run to get to see the theatre show.

9/10The food was excellent and so was the service despite one member if staff clearly struggling with English language. We were disappointed in the taste breakfast tea. And we would have preferred it to have been served at same time as food . Cos our second cup after the food was luke warm. But overall we had a lovely trip to London with delicious food . For ne personally I would prefer a little more sandwich and a bit less cake.

8/10We arrived early, table has already set up. There was some misunderstanding, but got claify. Overall. waiter was friendly, and polite. Tea was good, can have coffee too. Sandwiches : salmon, vegetarian, chicken were fresh, simple but good. Scones were warm and large with plain and rasins served with cream .and delicious jam. Last but not least, red valvet cakes, pumpin spices and chocolate cakes, all decorated and arranged beautifully. Palatable and enjoyable the whole time.

We got to the hotel/restaurant and have the voucher code as we had one to use. We were seated and the waiter was unsure what menu to give us to choose tea/coffee When we ordered we asked for an additional Prosecco each and happy to pay He came with the drinks and demanded payment immediately which unsettled me as usually you pay after the meal. We paid. No one came over to see if we were ok or would like more hot drinks and when we were done we just left. Never again

Went for afternoon tea with prosecco. Lovely staff, lovely setting, sandwiches super fresh and staff also listened to allergies and accommodated. Only downside was that the red velvet cake was very very dry making it inedible.

4/10The staff were not attentive at all. They served us & then we never saw them again. The sandwiches were dry & should have been 3 of each. Instead we got 5 cucumber & cheese, 3 salmon & 1 houmous. When we requested more sandwiches we were told we would have to pay extra. We got 2 different types of carrot cakes. The scones were not warm. No choice of teas given

9/10Although we had gift voucher and print of online receipt there was no record of our booking when we arrived at the hotel for afternoon tea. We waited whilst the receptionist consulted with the manager. She finally confirmed our booking and served a pot of tea but in all we waited over one hour fifteen minutes for meal. The waitress was very nice and the tea and food excellent. It was however an extremely nice experience and worth the wait.

6/10The restaurant was not easy to find and there was only one other couple having afternoon tea before us. We had to wait along time for our food to come and had to ask where it was.before they brought it to us after a half an hour wait .Why we could not have it later we would like to know. The sandwich selection was poor and more brown bread . Otherwise acceptable.

4/10Very disappointed with the food. The sandwiches were just basic no choices. The cakes were dry and tasteless. The staff were non existent. This was a gift for a birthday and feel that it was very basic and just not worth the money.

The afternoon tea was nothing spectacular, to be honest, would have preferred a wider variety on the cakes, not everyone adores chocolate. Lovely to have free iced water on request. Staff welcoming, generally a nice afternoon tea, very pleased we managed to book other London attractions, as a long way to travel for an average afternoon tea.

3.5/10Afternoon tea booked as a gift. On arrival, we were left waiting waiting as there were no staff at the bar for the restaurant, a foreign lady appeared with a tray of food for another table and walked past us just telling us to sit down. I told her we had a reservation and she snapped back saying I know but hadn't even asked if we had or even our names. Once shown to a table by a gentleman, the lady then reappeared and kept asking for our voucher, rushing me to get it out.. Then gentleman came back and he asked us which drink we wanted as in tea or coffee, not which tea, and disappeared for it. He told us the food would be out in a bit. He reappeared with a pot of tea and told us to leave it for a bit to brew. When the sandwiches arrived, they were ok, but looked like they'd just been knocked up quickly, all different sizes and crust was left on one. The cake selection was ok to look at, but the mini Victoria sandwich tasted just like shop bought ones, as did the mini rocky road. The gentleman came over to us again asking if everything was ok, and I asked him for a top up for the tea pot. He took it away and came back a few minutes later with it. After leaving it to brew, I poured us another cup, and we could see that he had only put more hot water in an empty pot with the same existing tea bags it initially had in, therefore it was so weak it was literally drinking dishwater. Also, in the lounge/restaurant/ bar area, there is a TV on the wa with a news channel on. This is the last thing we wanted in the background as the idea is to "get away from it all"! All in all, very disappointed as my daughter and I had travelled all the way up to London for her birthday and this was a gift voucher I had received from my partner for Christmas, so we were trying to make a special day of it as a treat. Definately not worth the money as no finesse.
