We are so lucky to have this restaurant in our village. The development this year of the Yard is inspired and will allow a different but still very high class dining experience for extended periods of the year. I had the pork belly starter and cod fillet main course and it just amazes me how much flavour Chef packs into both dishes. My wife has alleges and other dietary requirements which are always very carefully attended to . Can't recommend it higher if you are a lover of fine food.

Simply stunning meal, eaten among the raised vegetable beds in the garden. I had crab quiche, beef cheek and Biscoff cheesecake and could not fault a single thing. It was absolutely delicious. The new indoor seating area looks fab too. Loved it and loved every mouthful!

When I made the booking there was a choice of the lunch menu or the a la carte. I booked the lunch menu which was advertised as any small plate plus a drink (wine, beer, gin) . The server was not aware of the existence of promotion we had booked. We were then told dish my guest and I wanted was excluded. The experience was poor , which is a shame as I have eaten at the main restaurant before and it was lovely. I certainly won’t be going to The Yard or the main restaurant again.
