5/10We arrived on time. The lady behind the bar asked a young girl man to get me us and show us to our table, he wondered off and disappeared. Were left a good 10 mins before the lady behind bar realised we were still waiting to be seat. Although the young man behind bar served us some drinks. Once at table my partner ordered steak pie I ordered katsu chicken curry, the waitress told me I’d chosen well as it was delicious! 10 mins later she came back to table to tell us the curry had all gone. There was nothing else really on the menu I wanted. But agreed to try the chicken tikka flatbread. Food arrived after 40 mins. My partners was delicious. Mine was awful. Chicken was so dry I was downing water to wash it down. There was no check back on the table so didn’t really have the opportunity to complain. Staff were scarce. Eventually plates were taken and I mentioned the meal being awful. It was taken off the bill and a 20% off the pie. We left without dessert and won’t be returning.
