Although the building and restaurant looked nice service was very slow, we had ask when our afternoon tea was going to arrive. Sandwiches were tasty but tiny. There was hardly anyone in the restaurant but we constantly had to get up to ask for things as staff were staying chatting in another room. The cakes were OK but at £25 per person wouldn't return. Finally parking was almost impossible and without the help of a resident we would never have found anywhere to park. We weren't aware that the restaurant is part of an apartment complex which felt a bit odd like being in a retirement home.

The meal was a pleasant surprise, everything was very tasty and the menu was interesting and varied. The only little thing was that the bread that was served with the pate, was very stale. French bread that tasted like it had been sliced the day before, an easy remedy would have been to toast and butter the bread. I would probably opt to go a little earlier next time as it was pretty quiet when we dined on the last available slot of 8pm. The place and decor is very nice and the girls serving were both very nice and attentive.

We had a lovely family birthdays celebration. Staff were amazing young girls, making the evening very special. The restaurant is elegant, it was quiet but welcoming. Thank you for the acknowledgement of the birthdays 🎂

The food is stunning. The starters in particular. We ordered the pork belly and haddock tart. Mains were steak and lamb and desserts the espresso panne cotta and bread and butter pudding. All went down a treat during a romantic evening for two. lovely service, helpful and professional. Well recommended!

We were mostly ignored throughout service and had to go to the front to ask for things like serviettes. The staff seemed overwhelmed and distracted. The table was not correctly set up for the booking of 13 people (11 adults and 2 children) so there was not enough space when the final guest arrived. The sandwiches seemed very basic in the ingredients and the presentation and the bread was dry. The plates and serving tiers were not cleared off, making our crowded table feel even more cluttered. We were abruptly asked to leave to make space for another reservation and it was only after that was the Birthday plate presented (in other words, while we were now getting jackets and bags ready to leave). All in all, it left a bad taste in my mouth and I will certainly not recommend the restaurant to anyone else.
