10/10Again, the place to be for excellent homemade portuguese food in London. Forget South Lambeth Road, Kings Cross is the one to be on! Warm familial atmosphere, generous servings of comforting, delicious and well made dishes, and the seafood, beans and corn bread of your dreams. Order the sardines and leave very happy. Thank you to everyone, o sea, Obrigado a todos, voltaremos em breve. Catherine, um abraço

9.5/10This is a family run Portuguese restaurant- as you’d have in Portugal! A few things went wrong but they were quickly rectified. The cuisine was humble, spot on if you like simple country cuisine at a reasonable price, including the wine. Our local restaurant in King’s X !! Come here all the time .

6.5/10Feels a bit wrong to write this because the staff at the restaurant are so wonderful (here it comes) but the menu is a bit confused. The old saying "if you try to please everyone ........" - the portion sizes of all dishes were huge with many bulked out with chips? - yes that authentic old town favourite (not) - come on guys stick to your roots - I would suggest reducing the amount of food on each dish , take off the bloody chips etc and keep it simple, focus on that classic Portuguese food we are all expecting to find here

Hi good evening, hope you're well,we have lots of dishes without chips as you can see in the menu, if you don't like chips, you can order something else without chips, our food is cooked when you order, so there's lots of choices to choose from, and is freshly prepared, but we cannot please everyone, hopefully you can come back and have something else that pleases you, k regards the management.

10/10Fabulous atmosphere, warm and friendly service, and fantastic food. My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our time in Tía Rosa last night. Everything we shared was magnificent: generous portions of high quality ingredients prepared with heart and skill. The sardines with corn bread were ace, so fresh you could even eat the heads and bones (I did, obviously!), the prawns and mushrooms brilliant, and the Francesinha the best we´ve ever eaten, and that includes in Porto. Thank you to everyone involved in our meal last night. We loved it and will be back, thank goodness we only live up the road in N7! Hugs to all, Catherine

10/10If you're seeking an authentic Portuguese dining experience, look no further than "Tia Rosa". This gem of a restaurant brings the rich, vibrant flavors of Portugal to London, and it excels in both quality and value. From the moment you step inside, the warm, rustic ambiance sets the stage for a delightful meal. The decor is reminiscent of a cozy Portuguese tavern, complete with traditional tiles and charming wooden furnishings. We choose to eat outside as it was a warm afternoon,m.it was for dinner. The menu offers a wonderful selection of typical Portuguese dishes, each prepared with exceptional care and attention to detail. We Start with the Ameijoa a Bolhao Pato, a delightful clam dish that perfectly balances garlic, olive oil, and cilantro. And the Alheira, a traditional Portuguese sausage that is both flavorful and satisfying. For the main courses, the Octopus is a standout—tender and cooked to perfection, it melts in your mouth with every bite. The Carne à Alentejana, a classic dish combining pork and clams, is another highlight. The pork is succulent and the combination of flavors is truly extraordinary. What truly sets Tia Rosa apart is its excellent value. The portions are generous, and the prices are remarkably reasonable, especially given the high quality of the food. This is a place where you can indulge in a gourmet experience without breaking the bank. The service is attentive and friendly, making you feel like part of the family. The staff is knowledgeable about the menu and eager to offer recommendations, ensuring that your meal is as enjoyable as possible. In summary, [Restaurant Name] offers a delightful journey through Portuguese cuisine, with outstanding quality and an excellent price-to-quality ratio. Whether you're a longtime lover of Portuguese food or a newcomer eager to explore, this restaurant is sure to impress.

9/10Nice little restaurant with genuine Portuguese flavours, however the choice is very beef-heavy with some staples missing like pig ear salad, octopus salad, “Feijoada Transmontana” and many others. Still worth a visit.

10/10Little gem restaurant in Kings Cross. The food was amazing, and they served big portions like you're in Portugal. The staff are very welcoming, and I like that the restaurant is decorated with items to remind us of the distinctive and unique Portuguese culture.

9.5/10The food.is most delicious here. Feels like having grandma's homemade meals. Despite being very full after our entree and main, we couldn't pass on the delicious desert and happily waddled home after a most satisfying meal.
