9/10They let us sit at our table to wait for our friends and had a nice coffee. The food was hot and good choice of vegetables. The restaurant was crowded and noisy which said a lot for its popularity but it was hard to hold a conversation. Parking was plentiful and near by.

7.5/10The food was good as usual although the roast potatoes were dried out. Meat cooked to perfection and good to see pork back on the menu. I felt sorry for the girl carving, whilst she was coping well she was under a lot of pressure on her own. We were told that they were a member of staff down. We were advised that additional staff could nor be brought in at the last minute, but perhaps a small bank of reserve staff should be carried. Irritated by the patronising namely cliched way we were addressed by the waitress which is obviously company training,- members of the party found it patronising - as though they were being spoken to like children. Will return though but comments need to be taken on board.

8/10I was very disappointed with the roast potatoes...i have been to the Toby many times and usually everything is 00 per cent but on this occasion the roast potatoes were extremely dry and tasteless and the mac an cheese was also dry

10/10We have visited the Toby Carvery - Badgers Mount quite a few times now and have never been disappointed. The staff have always been polite and welcoming and sometimes very amusing. Personally I am not a meat eater but I can say there are lots of things to choose from, my wife however loves meat and has enjoyed a variety of different meat dishes and never had a complaint. We love going there as a couple or in a group and I'm sure you will like it there to. Happy Eating.

10/10Haven’t been for a while, took friends on Saturday & thought what have we been missing. Our waitress Penny & service was excellent, we had a great meal. Plenty of meat & numerous vegetables was good.

5.5/10The front of house staff were appalling! No such thing as a warm welcome there I’m afraid. We were accused with not booking a table and when they did find the booking, no apology just a grunt and told we were late (we were in fact 15 minutes early). However the waitress made up for the front of house misdemeanour’s. She was very professional. Would we go again, maybe, but Toby really do need to consider who they put as front of house. Possibly the worst welcome ever experienced!!

3.5/10The service was very very slow, the plates were cold and the food luke warm. I have been going to this place for many years but this year it has got bad. The food is cooked OK but it is not kept hot and it is served on cold plates. The waiter was more content to lay the tables than to serve his customers. Service was appallingly slow, not a good experience I am thinking of going somewhere else now.

9/10Very good value for money . The only thing we would ask is that please the food is piping hot. And plates could have been hotter too. I note that lots of reviews mention this. Generally hotter veg etc please! Otherwise a v nice meal

5.5/10Food and value good but only warm. The servery needs to be hot all the time food is being served. We found ourselves having to eat the meal very quickly because it was only warm.

10/10We had a pleasurable time there,with very low noise level. It meant we could enjoy each other's company in peace. All four said that they enjoyed each other's company, in addition to the good food.

2/10Getting a phone call to tell us our booking has been cancelled 3 hours before our appointment on Valentine's day is a definite no, no. Very unhappy and probably will not use Toby again!!!

9.5/10I booked for 4.15 sat down shortly after. Drinks ordered and delivered quickly, waited in queue for several minutes before service of meat.. vegetables were well cooked looked appealing and I enjoyed my choice. A very enjoyable experience for my party of four.

10/10When we arrived at the desk lovely lady showed us where to sit and the waitress penny was so he)pful friendly always willing to help you and never keptes us waiting food was hot delicious and really nice other staff just as polite as friendly a very nice evening again we had here defiantly reckonmend badgers mount Toby cavery thank you once again Maria Hodges Lynn Hodges and Michael Hodges

4.8/10A little disappointed with the food i.e. Having to wait for various items to come out, some items not available and cold corn on the cobb. The crockery is chipped, dirty windows with mould and generally the whole place is in need of an uplift.

10/10We have heard that the Badgers Mount Toby Carvery is excellent so we tried it out for ourselves for the first time. The booking was easily made on line. Car parking was easy. Reception was polite and fast as was the table service. The food was totally amazing. Highly recommend it to anyone.
