Very pleasant atmosphere with great food. Service very good and being a diabetic 2 I was helped with my sweet. Well recommended. Free parking.

Staff are mostly very young or even teenagers. The carver rather hanged in the kitchen than was checking if there's customers waiting. Waitress didn't bring the drinks, and apparently forgot to make the order (and the restaurant was nearly empty). Food was cold.

I booked online for sun carvery. The booking said £15.49 for 3 courses festive menu. We went & food was ok except they had run out of a few things. The bill came & it said £21.49 each. I queried it & the price was £12 dearer than what I thought. A manager came to speak to me at the table & said we had to pay the higher price as it was Sunday even though the online price was diff. I think she could have said as a goodwill gesture we could have had it at the online price. Unfortunately I will never go there again as it was such a bad experience.

Carvery as always dependably good. Several issues with menu - various drinks unavailable and on dessert menu apparently no ice cream. How is that even possible? Service very poor - servers slow to attend, then very rushed, offhand and surly, even though when we arrived there were very few other patrons. We chose to go there because the carvery is good and excellent value, but the service, dessert menu gaps, and overall atmosphere

The service was excellent but the quality of the product was poor, ie the meat was small helpings thinly cut, there was no parsnips, broccoli cabbage etc, sorry but I was disappointed after friends had recommended the restaurant

We booked our table for 7pm they had ran out of pork so could not have that the beef was dry turkey and gammon lovely a baby was crying all evening witch was very uncomfortable it ruined an evening I had my daughter and son in law who we have not seen for a while

ONCE AGAIN A LOVELY MEAL WITH PLENTY OF CHOICE AND EXCELLENT FRIENDLY STAFF..PLEASE CAN I SAY HOW HELPFUL OUR WAITRESS CHLOE WAS ,I NOTICED SHE WENT OUT OF HER WAY TO HELP AN ELDERLY GENTLEMAN WITH A WALKING STICK TO TAKE HIS MEAL TO HIS TABLE.

The restaurant we went to was very pleasant some of the paint was missing from the walls but otherwise ok . The waiter that showed us to our seat was very nice and explained everything to us . The meal was excellent everything was cooked to perfection and meat was plenty full . Will definitely be going back .

Table service was very good, waiter was very attentive,, however the food was disappointing. The batters were completely flat, the roast potatoes were greasy. The selection of vegetables was quite good but they all needed refreshing. The restaurant was quite busy so the vegetables should have been topped up. I had the gammon which was a new joint,?and it was delicious. My husband had turkey which he said was a bit dry.

The food was really good, even though we went on a Sunday evening. A table with young children made such a mess of food all over the floor. The adults didn't make any attempt to clear it up. That must be why they eat out, because their floor at home is full of food. Why would you expect staff to clean up YOUR children's mess? Unbelievable!!!

We were pleasantly surprised! This was our first time visiting. The staff members were very friendly and polite which created a welcoming atmosphere. The food really surprised us, super tasty and fresh.... Amazing value for money. Will definitely be going back for more.
