9/10A bit busier than last time and a bit understaffed but quality of food and service still up to standard. Carvery great as always, roasties and veg just right. Crumble and custard better than mine at home. And now they will deliver!

8/10A bit more expensive on bank holidays so fewer customers and staff. Still good value though. Veg a bit tepid but good. Must be the most interesting Toby Carvery in 1800s mansion.

6/10Disappointing. Not been for a while. No staff, one waitress acting as host, bar person, server. Most of restaurant was closed off to clients. Food was lukewarm, Roasties had been over cooked mashed up, cauliflower on. peas just a scoop of dried up offerings in a large oval dish, carrots dried up, didn't have the mash. Very sad as our table was booked for 12.30pm. when you would think the food would be fresh and piping hot. The carvery over all looked like the cook didn't care.

8/10Carvery. Two or three meats on a large plate, or an enormous plate for 1.99 extra. As much veg and extras as you can eat, but leave room for dessert. Food quality better than last time. Crackling crunchy and roasties nearly crunchy. The Watermillock is an old mansion so interesting inside. Good if you are feeling hungry.
