7/10The food was great. I was disappointed that there was no beer (only lager), and there was confusion when I said I had booked online, since the manager said he had no record of it, despite me having an email confirming the booking. He said that I should have received a text but no text was ever received, only an email to reply to confirming that I would be attending, which I replied to (Booking Ref 1954429651).

5/10Very disappointed that booking through this site, when I arrived the Toby carvery had no record of my booking. Food quality poor, like warm, mash and roast potatoes full of black lunps (eyes). I had an adult and child meal, I hD a very small portion of meat on adult plate compared to other customers and even the child portion was bugger than mine. I'm not a big eater but even for me the portion was small.

6.5/10It was busy at the time but the queue wasn’t too bad at the counter. The waiting staff were very polite and well mannered but the food wasn’t fabulous.

8/10This visit was exceptional, the food was excellent, hot and tasty. However the room was very hot and uncomfortable, when asked to turn the A/C they informed us that the A/C has not worked for approx 8 Years.

10/10Xxxxx We visit the Toby Carvery at Bridgend regularly and find it consistent in both quality of food and service which we would rate as very good. We would have no hesitation in recommending this particular restaurant to anyone for both quality of food and service.

4/10We waited for ages for our deserts and for anyone to come near our table not very good we nearly walked. Out very frustrating it was good the previous time we went and our custard was Luke warm I should have complained but was just glad to get out

8.5/10We were welcomed with a smile and shown to our seat. The service from the waitress was excellent,the meal from the carvery was warm but very tasty. As for the desert apple pie came out frozen (all three). But the waitress changed all three with fresh portions which came out a lot warmer. In all staff professional. Food average.

8.5/10The restaurant was very quiet and we were given a choice of tables. The food was good although I did find the roast potatoes and the carrot and potato mix were exceptionally greasy. The service was great and the staff all very friendly. Would definitely use again when visiting Bridgend.

10/10We've been going to our local Toby in Bridgend for many years and have never been disappointed. Today I took my family along at 2.00pm and the lunchtime selection was hot and fresh as usual. The guy carving the meats was friendly too, and the selection of vegetables was almost too much. We'll be returning soon. Finally; always good value !

7.5/10Always an enjoyable experience. Staff are very welcoming and friendly, service and food great. The only thing was that I requested a seat by the window for ventilation, but the windows were all fixed, and it was quite warm.

9/10Impressed how covid measures have been set up and support government guidance. Dissapointed to see some diners not using correct exit. Staff very efficient. Quality has not suffered. Really enjoyed our visit. Thank you
