We were bought a Groupon Voucher for Christmas. We booked for lunch today we had a very nice meal lovely choice of meats and vegetables. We also had a dessert as part of the deal minimum choice but still very nice. Just a shame the place looks very tired and in desperate need of a renovation

10/10We had an amazing time with wonderful food and I must single out our waitress Allison who was simply awesome, nothing was too much trouble for her and she looked after us all evening. 10/10 from us

7/10The restaurant was V busy which puts the staff under a bit of pressure , however they strive to be pleasant and attentive. Food is generally good , on this occasion the roasted parsnips were floating around in to much oil/fat ! Personally i would prefer to see a blanket price throughout the week , and not a rise on the w/e which penalises those who are restricted to dining on the w/e .

4.5/10The service was terrible. I did feel sorry for them. They were short staffed. The drinks machine was not giving quality tasting pop. Despite lots of room, we were put in an area of the restaurant where it was loud, dirty and messy. I hate to say it, it was awful. I won't be coming back in a hurry. Sorry.

10/10Despite it being a very busy Sunday afternoon at the carvery, the food was piping hot, the meat was really tender and there was an excellent range of vegetables etc to accompany the meal.

7.5/10Waitress was lovely and the guys on carvery where entertaining, having a giggle with Customers whilst serving which is better than just having a plate thrust in your hand. Must admit I was a little sceptical as some reviewers where off putting so I’m glad I made my own judgement. The only negative was 3 desserts where sold out by 3.30pm which considering there where several hours of serving left I would imagine there wouldn’t be much too choose from later in the afternoon. On the whole nice afternoon, well spaced out so not on top of the next table and service and food very nice.

4/10Waitresses were absolutely lovely and accommodating. However, the kitchen door slammed annoyingly loud everytime someone went through it and the guys that served the carvery could have easily passed as extras from the tv show of porridge. They asked what you wanted and then just continued by slopping anything on your plate and seemingly blatantly ignoring our requests. Thier attitude absolutely stunk. If it hadn't have been for lovely nature and helpfulness of the waitresses I would have walked out with family.
