From the moment we were shown to our table, until the time we left, the staff were attentive and friendly. When attending the carvery, the chef gave us a generous portion of meat and there was a lavish array of hot, fresh, vegetables.

Food was not up to its usual good standard. No beef, vegetables were either dried up or near empty dishes. Stuffing was dry and hard. There was little or no gravy in the bowls. By far not the best meal we have had here very disappointed

Not visited this Toby Carvery for a while but its still our favourite Toby The Carvery was amazing and hot Everything was so tasty with a choice of 4 meats and of course the lovely big Yorkshire’s The staff were so helpful and friendly towards us when they seen me hobbling in on crutches nothing was too much trouble Excellent food and excellent service as always.

Poor veg at the help yourself. The roast potatoes were over cooked. There was peas, sweet corn, white cabbage which did not look very nice but the cauliflower cheese looked nice as the dish was nearly full, that was all the veg available. My husband has veg gravy they had run out he was not offered fresh gravy so a bit disappointed.

Very welcoming. Friendly staff. Even being bank holiday weekend friday it was quiet. Only had platter and share starters with drinks. A nice way to catch up after all those months with friends. Staff were welcoming patient and very helpful.

Stressful due to crowds. We'd booked a table but they didn't have enough waiting or kitchen staff to cope with the numbers. They should limit the number of reservations! The staff were working hard but it felt like a school canteen due to the long queues for the carvery etc. Food was fine when we got it. Also was sent to bar to wait as our table wasn't ready (though reserved) but couldn't add drinks to our table as they couldn't give us a number!

A very busy Sunday lunchtime. Required queuing for the bar and a long queue for the carvery. Could not fault the food. Excellent service. So glad we booked as it was so busy. We did have to wait for roast potatoes which slowed the queue further.
