The Toby is a short distance away from home so we go for Sunday lunch/dinner. The meals are always fresh, hot and very tasty, the meats are tender and plentiful, I personally think the carvery meal is worth every penny! My only complaint despite there being 2 chefs/carvers is the wait, the carvery is situated in quite a small area with a sloping access which is used for coming and going so sometimes a tight squeeze. The carvery is very popular and so busy, we will be altering our eating times to hopefully miss the long queue. Apart from that the staff are lovely ,the food lovely and we will be visiting again soon.

We are regular diners at the Toby Jug, the food is lovely, its hot,tasty and as much as you can eat My biggest complaint apart from the now dated decor and furniture,( a lick of paint and modern furniture would look clean and fresh ) is the long long wait for food at the carvery! One server at busy times is not enough! The queue snaked all up the tiny passageway , the chef did his best on a hot day but the wait was tiresome and spoilt an otherwise lovely treat!

Went for a family meal. The carvery was delicious, no issues whatsoever. Recommend you upgrade to the king size. Hardly a difference in price but huge amount more food. That said, the standard portions are fine too. Highly recommended.

have become regular diners at Bradford Arms. Why? Pleasant surroundings, pleasant, polite, helpful Staff, both Male and Female. Good choice of meats and vegetables etc. Value for money!
