The staff are always fabulous. The food wasn't so wonderful today though. I love swede and thought it was on the menu today but not sure...it was a strange taste, the cauliflower cheese was very al dente and the serving area was very grubby.

We were seen to as soon as we got there. The meat potion size was very small the carvery chef disnt say a word to us juat cut the meat and handed the plate.

This was my first have visit to Toby Carver Cockleshell and I will be making a return visit. Only one small criticism, server did not have full understanding of menu offer but did check and serve item correctly.

On this occasion the food was dried out and Luke warm I visit this restaurant regularly and it seems Sunday carvery is the problem midweek is better, being disabled I asked for seating near food at the time of booking but was seated so far away felt let down, the only saving grace on this visit was the waitress being so helpful and assisting me, I don’t think I’d visit on Sunday ever again or recommend.

Although it was very busy, showed to table. Queue of 20 people infront but with two carvers queue did not take take long to get served. Food fresh and well tasty. Staff were friendly and polite.

Have to book to go so I booked for 3pm. Yet they must of over booked, so the queue for food was over a 30min wait. Booking for 3pm, sat down to eat at 4:30pm. Crazy.

Myself and my friends all agreed we had a very good meal earlier this evening. Waiting time was very short. The staff were friendly and the food excellent. Having eaten here before I already knew the food was good and was not disappointed. We will be returning to enjoy yet again the superb carvery.
