My husband and I were celebrating our 18th wedding anniversary. The staff member who was looking after us was lovely. She was very pleasant and made sure that we were satisfied with every stage of our meal. The price was very reasonable too. It's cheaper to visit during the week and not so busy. My only concern was the distance to the disabled toilet. But on the whole, a very enjoyable experience

This branch had ' lamb' on the menu & certainly not marked as Sat.& Sun ONLY,as the ABRUPT staff were quick to point out.! It must be a general mistake on the menus - nationally- get your act together TOBY INNS. Also the veg were overcooked & poor quality. Have been to TOBY inns now & again for years, standards are on the slide, maybe local management need to be MORE ON THE BALL !!. otherwise TOBY will vanish at this rate ( many branches already gone !. There was no staff people in front of use when walking in did not book on line so where turned away but the place was empty our waitress was no where to be seen we sat at out table not knowing what yo do went to bar was told it table service but was still waiting when ordering wanted a Yorkshire pubbing wrap but was told it be 20 to 30 mins and was put off ordeing it so had the carvey the food was dry and to be honest and veg hard stuffing was horrible also waited for Yorkshire anyway and there was no gravy had to wait again very poor all round don't think we ever go again x

We booked through the fork and when we arrived there was no booking however the lady on the front found us a table although they were very busy as I did have the confirmation of the booking.

Had a fantastic meal, great service from entering the restaurant, table service and chef. Food was so good, beef cooked to perfection and the best stuffing I've ever tasted. Be a regular place to eat going forward.

A little disappointing. Plates were not warm when the meat was served. Turkey on the menu, but no Cranberry Sauce. No English Mustard either. Gravy wasn't hot enough either. HOWEVER, the whole meal was tasty, excellent choice of meat & veg and a good time was had by all. KH

Always four choices of meats. Multiple choices of vegetables. Restaurant is well spaced in various parts.
