10/10This was my grandsons 2nd birthday meal but Toby Carvery said they did not have my booking via the fork even after showing my confirmation and we had to wait 20 mins for a table. However that being said we had a lovely evening and staff were great

10/10We booked a table for three Sun Dec3 16:00. Parked easy, logged car reg, directed to a table for four really quickly. Got seated, carvery, we each had turkey, was almost like a Christmas dinner. We loved our meal. Drinks served pretty quickly as well. Started to get really busy by 16:15 so people queuing for the carvery, looks our timing was perfect. Dessert served by a friendly waitress within about 2mins. We paid £70 (plus 10% because the service was good). We have been to this Toby West quite a few times and we reckon its the best.

10/10Excellent food and service, we spent the weekend in Edinburgh to celebrate my husbands 80th birthday, hence the meal . Faultless service will definitely go again.

7/10Nice cheap restaurant with good food. Unfortunately people dressed in sport suit or sitting all the time with mobile phone will not be exception.

4.5/10Starter a salade with prawns and smoked salmon, they run out of the salmon. So you are getting more prawns.....total approx. 12 little prawns swimming in a orange dressing. Salmon Wellington as the Main, the Salmon was so dry, it looks like Knäckebröd. And the taste of the spinach was undefined. The meat was better. Only the dessert was very good. They better start a patisserie......

8.5/10As ever, food, by & large, was good - altho' (for a change) I took the roast beef instead of ham. It was tough & very chewy and had to push it aside. Will ensure I don't take it again unless it looks well-cooked. A pity, as I always enjoy what is no offer. Turkey & Ham for me!! Service - as always - excellent, friendly & polite. Iain Dunn

10/10We have used the Toby on many an occasion and the standard is maintained at all times. Where we were seated was ideal - a quiet corner close to the Carvery. All in all, an excellent visit in congenial surroundings. Long may this continue! See you next week!

3/10Decided to have carvery, definitely a mistake! Most of the vegetables were dried out. Roast potatoes were hard and inedible. Yorkshire pudding was hard. Only the turkey and ham were edible. Member of staff on carvery was not particularly helpful. Could barely make out was he was saying. The other staff serving at the table were very helpful.
