2/10Took to long to queue for food 25 mins The meat was not sliced correctly very small not enough staff to serve food The worst service we have had from Toby Staff had to get my partners meal as he had mobility issues and was unable able to get his own food so a member of staff got his food for me as the queueing was far To long

6/10We arrived a few minutes earlier than booked and was happy that we were seated straight away. The only areas of disappointment was that after taking our drinks order we then had to asked again 15 minutes later where they were, also they could not keep up with demand and items like eggs and hash browns were constantly missing from the hot plate. Apart from that the visit with family was ok!

10/10Wasn't so busy at first when we arrived but then service did slow down a little but the restaurant had got busy. Quality of food was good and staff were happy and friendly and helpful. Never had a bad experience with the carvery at Toby carvery Gravesend

9.5/10I took a slight detour with a friend on my way from Eltham to Folkestone in order to eat at Toby Gravesend. (We don't have a Toby in my part of Kent so, if you're listening Mr Toby, we'd like one please.) I really a appreciate being able to have a great meal with plenty of veg at a time that suits me. Both the beef and the pork were beautifully tender, I didn't bother with the Yorkshire but had lots of veggies. We both really enjoyed what we had, and would go more often if it was closer to home. And with 25% off as an Octopus customer, what's not to like?

6/10The waitress was excellent and very polite. As most times the veg was more cold than hot with soft roast potatoes . If the Toby could keep the veg hot and the roast potatoes crispy it would be a much more enjoyable meal.

6.5/10The carvery food idea is good and the meat is very nice, the Yorkshire puddings are far too crisp and large whatever happened to moist and satisfying and smaller. The Roast Potatoes do fine on the hot trays along with the gravy but vegetables are left for too long and go all stodgy yet the sprouts were disgusting they are supposed to have stems cut off not just thrown straight into hot water and not probably cooked! So for a simple eat as much as you like eyes bigger than your belly cheapish meal it’s fine however if you want a meal prepared by a chef and not just someone who cooks food then look elsewhere. I have sampled some excellent carvery meals with freshly cooked vegetables that have not been mass cooked and left on a hot plate for hours, Toby Carvery is not such a place though!

10/10The food was delicious (apart from the undercooked brussel sprouts), and the staff were friendly and very helpful. I am disabled and a member of staff offered to take my plate of food to the table for me which I thought was really kind of her.

9/10The food was amazing, fresh and tasty. The staff were very friendly. What was disappointing was, it was really cold in the restaurant. My sister had to put her coat on, to be a bit warmer. Never great to eat dinner in your winter coat. So we just ate and left. Would normally have stayed and had dessert, so that was also disappointing.
