Overall good food, everything was fresh. Drinks a good price, lots of offers available. Very family friendly, could do with French fries on children’s menu , few choices but something u would expect to be in the menu. Maybe a few things for children like play area or drawing to be even more family friendly. Plate could use a lip to avoid spilling gravy. Bit hot inside. The staff were very good, but a few more would be better. As the waitress doing a great job but running around like mad barely able to keep up with all the tasks needed to do . Working really hard and helpful staying on top everything best could. Good value, good meal , plenty of parking. Everything very clean.

The carvery that we had was Luke warm, roasties very dry usually my faves. The crackling was so hard it was inedible and was only bought out begrudgingly because I asked ...wished I hadn't bothered

We always enjoy a Toby Carvery, I always enjoy the food, good home cooking. A couple of my guests weren't so keen on the Yorkshire pudding as they were large ones, but later on we noticed that the chef brought some smaller ones out. I would go again definitely.

We enjoyed our Sunday roast at this Toby. All staff were really pleasant and we particularly commend Nicola for her helpfulness. The choice and quality of the meat was very good. However, the amount of carbohydrate on offer in the vegetable selection was too much - four different types of potato plus macaroni cheese with only cauliflower, carrots and peas as ‘green’ veg. It would have been nice to have broccoli and/or parsnips instead of some of the potato. Also, unfortunately both of our menus were sticky with food - soon replaced - there were food smears on the wall next to our table and food on one of the seats. As this was the first lunch sitting, - 12 o’clock, - we would expect cleaning to have been completed beforehand All in all a decent lunch and we would go back but be prepared to check menus, seats and walls!

Excellent service is a normal here and the food is consistently good. Couple of technical issues I would say that the ice cream machine has been out of order at least 4 times from my last 10 appearances, can we not get this fixed once and for all? I don't eat meat so it is vitally important that we have salmon available please after 6pm Sunday. Much appreciated.

Generally good service, consistently high standards of food quality and value for money. General waiter service is of a high standard, would strongly recommend this venue for a very homely feel, efficient service and good value for money.

When we are in Birmingham visiting family we always go to Toby Carvery Hall Green because we know we are guaranteed a lovely Sunday Roast from the Carvery. We have never had a bad meal, if you want larger portion plate you can just ask. I would always recommend a Toby Carvery. A good price , staff asked if we were OK if we needed more drinks, Staff very helpful and friendly. Definitely 10 out of 10.
