6/10We were 3 Adults & 2 Children. The Adults had a Carvery & the Children a Childrens meal. When asked for chips, the Waitress said she would get some. When these failed to arrive, another Waitress said they dont serve chips & their meals were now cold. l

10/10My husband and I are both disabled and nothing was a problem for the staff, they are very pleasant and friendly. The food was as good as ever so we have no complaints at all.

7.5/10We had an adequate meal would have preferred a better selection of green vegetables also more expensive than we have been. Used to £20.98 as opposed to £15.40 but easier to get to and staff very friendly

10/10The staff were very friendly and kind could not fault them. The only thing that was not the same was the amount of meat they gave us and the Yorkshire pudding was half the size, so needed a pudding to fill up, so no problem really.

4.5/10Table and cutlery was sticky. Glasses scratched and sticky. Carpet was very worn and poor. Tables very close together - people had to move to let us get in to the seat. Food was not very good - meat was very chewy - not tender. Vegetables (particularly carrots and cauliflower) under cooked. Overall not an enjoyable time.

6.5/10What I love about a Toby Carvery is that on the whole they are quite consistent and you’re always guaranteed a tasty roast. The food was delicious but there appeared to be less vegetables available than normal. In my opinion the freshness of the roasties all depends on footfall and turnover. I was slightly disappointed by them today but I think this was due to it being mid-afternoon on a Saturday. I was seated near the entrance behind a wall but couldn’t understand why there was a massive draught cooling down my meal. It was only on exiting the restaurant that I realised that some clown had left all the entrance doors open!!! Normally this would be fine in July but it was heavily raining and only 18 degrees outside. The waiter was efficient and attentive and service was incredibly fast. I’ll definitely be back on a different day of the week to see if the flaws were a one off.

4/10all vodafone UK ₴ 18:21 88% Profile Sunday 6pm, booked in case it was busy, it was manic! shown our table and sat down, the tables were strewn with plates, glasses and left over food, and the queue was long, we got our plate, Yorkshire pudding was flat and clearly been sitting a while, the serving table was covered in spilt food from the serving dishes, potatoes, parsnips etc were soggy! And the "famous" gravy was tasteless! My advice is to avoid Sundays!! Probably a different story on a week day!! Q Explore Search Plan Review Account

9.5/10First time at a Toby carvery and I was very impressed. The service was excellent and we.were.made to feel welcome. The food was great and would highly recommend it. Defo going back there again. Big thumbs up

10/10Although my wife and I arrived nearly an hour early the staff bent-over-backwards to accommodate our impromptu arrival. Excellent service, excellent quality of food- excellent full stop. Many thanks.

8.5/10Our waiter, Dean, was excellent..attentive and very helpful. I would maybe suggest that a ticket system for queuing for each table might have been easier rather than standing in a long queue slowly ambling in for food would have been acceptable. Just a thought but overall very nice & food tasty enough & enjoyable

7/104 of us attended sunday for lunch time slots were taken quick as always for sundays staff were busy so there was a waitfor drinks and ordering the staff were friendly and apologied for the wait... Food was good except the veg looked dry but apart from that it was ok

10/10Excellent as always. There was a queue but it moved very quickly. The food was nice and hot and delicious. We skipped a pudding but the sponge cake and custard on the next table looked good!! Can’t wait to go back.

6.5/10We come here quite regularly and today’s experience was disappointing. The queue for the car very was four rows deep with very few people wearing masks and no social distancing. Staff weren’t wearing masks and had to push past people in the queue to get to the tables. The turn over of food was not good and there was no cabbage available when we got there. The food was not very hot but the lamb, turkey and gammon were good. Our waitress was excellent and efficient and we told her of our concerns. She said that the management were aware but the Company had not made changes. We hope that this is a temporary blip and not the way the restaurant will be run in future.
