5.5/10The meal was very expensive, price of a carvery has gone up by nearly £5 from £10 - £15. There was a ridiculously long queue for the carvery meaning as a family we didn't manage to eat together as someone had to stay and look after our belongings

8.5/10Very good food, only problem was they hadn't put another turkey on in time, so we couldn't have turkey, about a half hour wait. No yorkshire puddings, veg was nice though. But all said and done, will go back.

4/10We had booked no seating where we asked for no mention of it. Veg all empty. Gravy empty servery dried up food. Appreciate they busy hire more staff

8/10Our waitress Lana was very chirpy and made us feel valued. The food was OK.. but the yourshire puddings were as flat as pancakes.. very unusual as they are normally huge.

8/10We arrived a little early but reception staff found us a table despite being very busy. The carvery was good....I had lamb and it was very tender and beautifully cooked. The choice of vegetables was also very good

9/10We visited on a Sunday lunchtime. The restaurant was really busy but we were shown straight to our pre-booked table - impressive. There was the inevitable queue for the carvery, only to be expected. Food was good and plentiful. Selection of vegetables was good.

8/10Food was very fresh from the carvery buffet. We did get there just before the rush hour so no queues and plenty of choice. Roast potatoes not crispy but rest of food was good quality. Staff was very pleasant and cheerful.

7/10Slow to seat us, no crackle dripping roasters where not the best I havehad them in other Toby inns and they were excellent these where much like an ordinary roaster. The veg was so hard it wasn’t nice to eat. Portions of meat where so small not the usual amount I have been used to. Yorkshire pudding were flat and didn’t taste very nice. Gravy was good. And it was nicely decorated for Christmas. I would not travel over to eat there again.

8.5/10Unfortunately I didn't time it well as had theast scraps of gammon and macaroni cheese which had dried up and lost the will to live. The rest of the food was ok

6.5/10I went with my 2 grandchildren for carvery for 2 of us and sausage and Yorkshire the other. The sausages were very dry even I wouldn't have eaten them. The roast was hot d not luke warm like some other tobys. The tables are very close together again and one man was coughing continuously.. The service was good.

7.5/10The Carvery was a little bit lukewarm. There was plenty of meat and the yorkshires were huge and crispy. Loads of veggies to choose from however the sprouts were cold and the gravy and other veg was lukewarm. Shame really otherwise we enjoyed it. My coffee was also lukewarm when I got it. We didn’t complain cos we were in a bit of a hurry.

8.5/10Seated promptly upon arrival. Server friendly and helpful. We we able to get our carvery straight away with no waiting, drinks arrived before we returned to our table. overall great value. we will be back again.
