7.5/10My only gripe would be that the vegetables were dry, under the heat lamps, I understand they need to keep them warm, but a little more effort in keeping them moist! The Yorkshire Puddings were tough and dry, which is a shame! Otherwise, all around we had a good time, just add plenty of gravy.

6.5/10Haven't been for years but the food was not that good, all veg dried out or bland. Macaroni cheese although nice addition tsteless and dry. Onions in gravy were tasty though but had everything else and dried up. Looks good though since refurbishment. There wasnt any crandberry sauce but when I asked for some our waitress brought a big bowl to our table which was handy as 2 of us disbled so diffiult to go up again.

10/10With friends we always end our trip to the Cinema with a meal at Toby’s. There’s no other way of finishing off a great time at the pictures than with a fab roast from Tobys

8.5/10Very good from entering to leaving, only problem was the length of time wec were there, we wwere told at the start we had 2hrs partuicularly as we had a party of 10 and large tables are in high demand, I understand that but a little longer would have been better, some members of my partt still had drinks to finish, they ended up l eaving them

10/10Toby Carvery is the ideal place to meet friends whilst eating excellent food and desserts to die for. Staff are amazingly friendly and it’s lovely to be greater by them when you arrive. I couldn’t think of any place that could come up to to Toby’s standards. 100%.

2/10Arrived a restaurant and shown to table. Given a menu that had food remnants over it. At the carvery itself the meat was just plonked on the plate and the staff seemed disinterested. We had walked out of this establishment a year earlier because of shoddy service and awful food presentation and it seems it the same old story

8/10We were delighted and surprised by the beautiful building and the large dining area. Lived in copthorne for ages and never tried Toby’s. Will eat here again, great carvery, staff and prices. Take a look and book now.

7.5/10The food is kept under heat lamps which dries the very food you would like to eat. Especially, vegetables, if the number of people in the restaurant is diminished, it can be embarrassing to have to apologize to your guests when you have a party of people.

7.5/10The chef took 5 minutes to come out to serve by which time there were 6 of us waiting. He kept disappearing to cough in the kitchen. Although I appreciate him not doing it over the food, it still wasn't nice to gear.

6/10We are frequent visitors to Toby Carvery but on.this occasion we felt the service was very poor i waited at the front desk to talk to a team member which i had to wait as he was too busy talking to bar tenders hopefully our next visit we will feel hetter

4.5/10Server assumed our order. That we were having the carvery off the festive menu which we weren't so after our starters and waiting a while i had to grab her attention to order what we wanted. The kids portions was VERY small so the menu should specify an age on it because my daughter would have ordered off the adults menu! The vegetable selection off the carvery was very poor. Only roast potatoes, carrots, peas, cabbage, brussels and potatoes dauphinoise all swimming in butter. I did asked server for steamed vegetables without but was told had to have off the carvery station. I decided to leave pudding and eat that somewhere else on the way home.

8/10We arrived thirty minutes before our booking & had a drink before we were seated. Staff seemed rushed & understaffed but friendly. Our food was lovely & service was good. Hassel free, a nice evening.

8.5/10Ordinary Carvery…£8:49 Go Large …………………&13:49…….two extra sausages but no extra meat even though I asked specifically for extra meat. £5:00 difference in price but no difference in the amount of meat…..£2:50 per sausage…outrageous !!!!

9.5/10Staff were amazing as usual! We had two elderly people in our party who are not very mobile. Staff made sure our table was on a flat level and even moved the barriers so they could get easy access to the food counters!

7.5/10I have always enjoyed eating at this Restaurant when I bring my in-laws who live in Horsham. As usually I was disappointed because the man who served at the carvery was very unfriendly and too serious and hardly acknowledged me. The choice of vegetables was very limited which was disappointing as I like greens and there was only peas. The waitress who served us was very good, friendly, engaging and that really gave us a good experience. Thanks Saja.

6/10Really nice to self serve again.good selection of food choices, little skimpy on the meat portion but overall very nice. Only disappointment was our server had been sent home so nobody tended to us so we had to ask for the bill.

7.5/10Unusually cold in carvery today. Waitress did try and turn it up but felt food went colder whicker as it was cold in room. Also some of food was disapointing. Gammon was very salty even if had with other food. Beef was grissly in parts even though looked nice. Did not see point of the dumplings would have preferred the boiled onions that are usually there. Also macaroni and cauliflower cheese are never cheesey enough. Otherwise there was still a lot of choice and tasted nice. Pudding was lovely.
