The food was excellent -- but we had a 40minute wait. Apparently the kitchen had been flooded -- but "front of house" staff failed to tell us this on our arrival -- nor did they keep us updated, or offer free drinks during the wait ---- !!!!! Where was the manager's leadership ?????

Excellent choice of side dishes available and I thought I'd never finish my plateful, but I did because it was all really delicious. I especially like the macaroni cheese. Our waitress was above and beyond efficient and is at a standard to be strived for. I wonder if they're all like her in Runcorn!

After quite a long wait for fresh food to be brought to the carvery service area we had expected the food to remain hot until we sat down to it. It soon became clear certain items would have benefitted from some time under the heat lamps. The veg, especially the roast potatoes were actuall cold inside. A complaint to the waiter did result in a reduction in the price, however we do hope action will be taken from constructive criticism as this venue is very handy, we have been generally satisfied with it in the past and would like to continue using it.

Each time we go to Toby Loughborough we receive a warm welcome form all the front of house staff also from the person on the carvery duty. Toby visits are a treat too our selves a beautiful hot meal no cooking or washing up and a friendly attmosphere a real treat.

We have been to Toby Carvery Loughborough many times, and this time the food in parts were poor, stuffing was very dry, and the yorkies was flat and well just disappointing, the veg was not too bad. The service was a little slow too, we had been there a good 10 minutes before a waiter came and asked us what we wanted to drink which is not normal for this Carvery.

I am afraid the plates where Cold which in turn made the Food on my plate cold, The Gammon was beautiful and the assortment of Veg I did not have a Yorkshire Pudding as they are so tough to cut up. Waiting Staff and front of house all very plesant and helpful people, we were early but seated straight away. We will return as it's our treat to ourselves and having meal and no washing up is great.

Toby Loughborough, we where made very welcome and escourted too our table and given time to settle, we ordered a Drink and then invited to the Carvery I had Roast Gammon which was moist and a beautiful flavour, my wife is Vegetarian and had no meat Carvery an excelent choice Vegetables. We had a Sweet which rounded off an excellent meal ! We made a Booking for 18 people in November for our Club Members.

Lovely food, easy to find location wise as I don't know the area very well. Will return. Staff very helpful re gluten free. Food was tasty and didn't taste like it had been sitting around at all. Impressed.

Not up to usual standard. Roasties very dry and hard to cut. Pasta dry and crunchy. Mash was tasteless. I asked for lamb . I was given the very last bits you could get off the bone which I refused. Chef then went and got fresh meat . This bits should never have been served to anyone.
