5/10All the food was cold, not even luke warm. Vegetables overcooked, gravy cold. Prices have increased but quality was worse. Very noisy too

5/10I booked dinner for Boxing Day arrived at booking time, restaurant struggled to find us a table. Waitress didn’t have a clue what to do it took 30 minutes to get a drink 30 minutes later we managed to order our starters which arrived at the same time as our dinner the dessert took 45 mins to arrive. The food was nice but the service was an absolute shambles such a shame could be a lovely restaurant

6.5/10Lovely to see it looking so festive. Had a nice corner area for our party of 5. The meat, potatoes and Yorkshire puds were excellent but the carrots peas and Brussels were dried up and the gravy was not hot. By the time we sat down to eat the meal was lukewarm which was a shame. The festive crumble was lovely.

4/10We was seated in minutes, waited 45 minutes in the carvery queue as they prioritised delivery orders over people waiting on site, lots of self serve dishes empty or burnt, dessert barely any ice cream or custard in dishes then charged £75 for the privilege, will not be coming back and heard lots of other tables complaining and saying the same thing, no manager to speak too just a waitress apologising to every table.

8.5/10The poor waitress was on her own, multitasking, but was attentive and polite. The carvery was fresh with generous portions of meat. The restaurant was very cold which in turn made the meals cold very quickly on the plate. We are regular users, and will continue to be so, very good value for money

4/10We ordered a bottle of champagne and it was served warm. Then it took ages for it to cool down to an acceptable standard. Some of the food under the light was not warm to eat. After ordering desert we were asked if we wanted tea or coffee and only after the tea was served we were then told we had 10 minutes left to drink it because the table was for 2 hour only. If we were told we only had 10 minutes before the tea was served we would not have ordered the tea. The bottle of champagne took a long time to cool down because a bottle was not previously stored in the fridge, thus our dining time should have been extended to incorporate the time it took to cool down the bottle of champagne.

2/10Definitely, not probably the worst Toby Carvery I've eaten in. Food was a combination of mushed vegetables, dry meat and burnt potatoes. My granddaughter was starving when we got home so I cooked her Super Noodles, tasted much better. Pub garden in a terrible state with broken fences, part of wall down so children could access very busy major road, tables outside looked like they'd seen better days. Should be giving me money to eat here .

6/10Waitress was rude. Ignored us. When we did get her attention she abruptly told us to wait in bar no tables. I told her I had one booked. When she took the time to look our table was empty. She was rude and very off putting.

3/10Went at around 6:30pm. To many people sat in the same place, and food was cold! The carvery the chef served, however with the food was to cold. We have been here before, however wouldn’t return avoid
