10/10The place is looking much better after a much needed revamp. Our waitress was helpful and friendly. And finally the only place that serves lamb on the carvery at no extra charge!!

10/10The place has been refurbished to a high standard. Very welcoming. The staff were amazing especially Rachel. I will certainly be visiting again soon. As usual the food was first rate and the staff very polite.

5/10The girl that served us at the table was really pleasant, well mannered and polite. As for the food it wasn't the best. It wasn't hot it was luke warm and the roast potatoes where extremely hard, sad to say we won't be returning anytime soon.

4/10I booked a table for 10 people, they were not aware of the booking on arrival but did manage to seat us all. There were not enough staff on the carvery, He had to leave serving to take his meat out of the oven leaving a que of people. When we finally got our meals they were not very warm and the gravy and condiments dishes were empty. Overall i was quite disappointed

5/10The food was warmed over from dinnertime although the staff were good and welcoming the food had been under the lights to long. Maybe it was our fault for booking at 4.45 a bit of a changeover time, that did not excuse the thick lumpy left to long gravey and dried up roast. the rest was passable.

4/10Hi I don’t think I would return here . We all had the carvery which was just tasteless the chef serving meat was very tight compared to we’re we usually go silkwood farm I got fatty roast beef would not give my dog it . Turkey was nice but very small thin slice . There was not a queue yet took over ten mins stood waiting for meat to be brought out so slow . The vegetable choice was poorest I ever seen . The roast potatoes were dried up rock hard my mum could not even eat hers too hard . The lady who served us was very nice . Think it disgusting to charge £4 more just cos it bank holiday esp when we all in cost of living crisis . Yes a increase maybe but that is ridiculous we have never had that happen any were else it’s exploiting people . The quality of food was not worth the price unfortunately . Would not recommend to anybody sorry

9/10The staff on the door were friendly but although the booking was for 2pm the staff thought 2 30 so we weren't able to sit down, and unfortunately drinks were limited as there was no gas working

7/10The carvery was very good. Food was hot and plentiful. Unfortunately, the ice cream machine has not been working for some time so that was disappointing. However we had sticky toffee pudding and custard. There was very little custard so we asked for more. We were then told there would be a charge for extra !!! It was a bit like Oliver asking for more in the Dickens book. I have never ever come across this before, especially when there wasn’t adequate to start with. Unbelievable really????

9/10Popped in with my dad .as usual staff are very helpful always ask if you enjoyed your meal drinks are always quality beers . Roll on next week for another quality carvery.

8.5/10Our waitress was lovely very chatty but not over the top. Very kind too she found a tomato juice that she thought they did have for my mum. The chef serving was also very chatty with a smile. Made our experience a very pleasant one.

3/10The food was dried up. We dined at 4pm and I think the veg and the meat had been stood for hours . The food service was very slow. We waited 10 mins before anyone came out. Shame as we have been there a few times and it’s been good. Left hungry as it wasn’t edible

8/10Very organised and efficient. Decent portions, not much selection veg wise - peas, carrots and corn?but they were cooked properly so could have been much worse. Meat (gammon) was lovely.

8/10This is a busy restaurant and the queues for the carvery can be very long. So timing your reservation is key. The food is very good and the staff are very helpful and on the ball.

7.5/10There was no pork brought out which was disappointing. I find the beef in Toby quite fatty and don't like gammon so therefore could only have turkey. Apart from that everything was fine.
