10/10I was with a friend & it was my eightieth birthday & I wanted to come to the carvery, the service was excellent & also the meal as usual as I go there quite a lot as good value as always.

8/10The staff were welcoming and helpful. The turkey was beautiful cooked however the beef had fat running through it. There was a good selection of vegetables. The gents toilets are in urgent need of upgrading.

5/10Regrettably the young woman seating guests has a limited understanding of customer service. With multiple tables empty she was insistent on both occasions where we must sit only for other tables to remain empty for the duration of our meal. Our waitress however was brilliant. Going above & beyond and responding quickly to diners needs. She’d make an excellent front of house and should be promoted.

8/10Place was extremely busy due to pre Black Friday deal and waiting for food & drinks took much longer than usual. Otherwise it would have been as excellent evening.

7/10Toby is a restaurant with a hotel at the side that it also caters for. Staff very pleasant food ???? hot and tasty. Didn’t have a sweet eaten too much. Lovely roast spuds. The queue to get our food took 15 minutes but we just chatted so soon passed. Would go again. Went 2pm on a Sunday and not many children there they appeared to start coming about 3.30 -4pm. So quiet for us oldies which was great.

10/10Food great quality as usual. Very disappointed at the one slice of meat I got which was inedible as it was covered in fat. I asked the server why do little and he replied it’s fine by weight. Only he didn’t weigh it. Not a vegetarian so didn’t go there for the veg.

9.5/10Food & service were great… It was unfortunate that I had to visit the ladies as there were problems with an ill-fitting toilet seat and the heavy toilet paper holder half-hanging off its wall-mounting. So maintenance was poor and health & safety compromised.

8/10I booked via this site and with an offer advertised and mentioned on the Fork Confirmation email - However the Restaurant Manager said she knew nothing off this offer and refused to honour it - Also she said she was not aware of any such Company as the Fork - so all of this kind of spoilt the evening for us. The Food itself was good and the actual waitress was also very good - just what happens at the start kind of spoiled the evening and hence why my "Disappointed" Rating. Your next question asks us to input the amount paid after special offer - yes this rubs salt into wound as whole point the Fork Offer was not offered and indeed the Restaurant Manager said to go check that this "Offer" was not a "Scam" and so the next answer to survey not entirely relevant
