4/10when you say 5 meats and only 2 and a bit not impressed and not much veg ie no mash and a party of 18 with 9 children eating not good and no discount for the big bill of nearly £ 250 pounds not very happy at all, not a way to celebrate a anniversary something needs to change

9.5/10All staff are friendly and very helpful. Food as always very good and plenty of it. It's a shame it's a long queue to get your food but that's the only negative part. Good value

6.5/10Very busy if you like Cheese this is the place to be as all Vegetables are covered in it. As I also dont like Peas I was left with one veg Carrotts ......... Had to ask for Gravy was told 3 minutes so had to have one of noy my choosing .... Lamb was tough as at bottom or by bone.

10/10Very friendly and helpful staff across the whole team. 👍 Throughly enjoyable birthday family celebration. Only grip, no vegan ice cream for Grandson & only one vegan dessert, which wasn't very inspiring - big disappointment

9.5/10Our server Aaron was wonderful. He paid extra attention to my mum who is blind and elderly which means a lot. Not often you get such good customer service these days and he exceeded all of our expectations. Thank you

8/10We've been to this Toby a few times before, and always been satisfied, however on this occasion, somehow the food was exceptional, everything hot, and the choice of meats were cooked to perfection, but what tempted me to write this review was the service given by the young chap who was our server, everything was spot on, and everything we asked for delivered on time. It may be difficult to put into words here what it was that he did that was over and above what was expected. But , it made the whole experience for me and my family a real special treat.

8/10We have been coming here for years . Food has always been good.we visited on 28th August only had 2 options of meat the rest was cooking. Roast potatoes were hard .didn’t enjoy the carvery .

10/10Haven't been for a couple of years. My husband and I had a very enjoyable meal & the Sundaes we had were great. Our server was polite & we did not feel rushed at any time.

10/10We were welcomed in and showed to our table and because I am on crutches our origin al table was up some stairs so we were put on a table much more convenient. The waitress was bubbly and friendly and was very attentive to our needs and requirements. Will recommend to other people.

8.5/10Been a while since I last went. The staff were lovely and friendly although the chef didn't look happy. He had no smile and it seemed he didn't want to make conversation when I spoke to him. Though the food was good, it's a shame there wasn't any broccoli or red cabbage in the veg section on the carvery. I had some of the cauliflower but it was too hard so didn't eat it which was a pity. Everything else was lovely. We also had a dessert each and both of them not only looked nice but tasted good too The waitress was very nice and helpful. Plan on coming back at some point.

10/10If in doubt, I always pick a Toby Carvery when I am entertaing friends away from my home town. I booked this restaurant because I had friends coming over from Athens so, although I had to drive 100 miles to get there, I knew that there was something on the menu to suit all tastes. The youngest child in the party wanted chicken nuggets but when he saw the huge yourksgire pudding on the way in, he wanted one of those as well so his chicken turned up, together with a huge Yorkshire. The waitress looked after us very well, even taking a group photo for us. We'll done Toby, you served me well. John adams and party.

8.5/10Everything very good. Dropped a couple of stars because (i) the vegetable selection at the carvery has been the same every time I've eaten here and (ii) those of us who've outgrown children would appreciate a small, out of the way, child-free zone - a bit harsh considering it's half term I know, but the layout here does lend itself to the possibility. (Yes, I do normally avoid school holidays, but I was lunching with a friend who was passing through from one end of the country to another and had no choice.)

10/10The staff at this Toby went far and beyond to help me and My mum who elderly and can’t walk well and can be unsteady. The same for me with pain in my joints. The Hostess gave my mum a chair to wait for the table then very soon took us to the table and said if we need help please ask them. The waitress was really helpful as well.can’t fault the service or the food it was delicious .

5.5/10Food was ok, staff were ok, but the carvers need more training, the portion of turkey wasn't worth having, no way did it weigh 160g !! I complained to the manager he was as much use as a chocolte teapot and dressed like a customer, not at all proffessional - I was better dressed than he was! - I make and sell cakes so I know what things weigh, the 2 slices of turkey I was given if you held them up you could see through it it was soooo thin! def won;t be going back and will NOT be receommending to anyone to go there! with the cost of living as it is and less people being able to affored to go out, you want a meal you don't mind paying for, I COULD HAVE DONE BETER MYSELF!

8.5/10We never have need to give negative feedback , concerning this Carvery but I had the beef and Turkey the turkey was very tasty , but the beef appeared to have a fair bit of fat on it which made it a little less appetizing . Our waitress ,Vicki was brilliant as she always is nothing is too much trouble to make a visit more enjoyable the small problem with the beef is no fault of the waitress so no complaint was made but the buyer of your beef roasts needs a talking to for quality control all in all a very enjoyable visit noisy children on the next table couldn't families with small children all be placed in a certain area so they annoy each other .

8.5/10Vicky was Excellent serving us , she was very busy , but did a great job. Food was very good and tasty beef was done to perfection. But the air conditioning unit nearby seemed to be leaking water onto the carpet this however did not spoil our meal I can honestly say I enjoyed my 65th Birthday celebration at Toby's Carvery - Old Forge profiteroles desert is to die for I would like to have tried the fruit crumble but this wasn't available maybe some other time

10/10The roast pork was really tender and tasty though the crackling was a little hairy for my liking. The food overall was really good, especially the potatoes and cauliflower cheese.
