7.5/10Because it was a really busy Sunday the service was slow. The food was delicious but on the cold side. Because we sat in a booth for 6 we had nowhere to hang our coats which was rather inconvenient.

5/10Dinner: Slow service at 8.30pm. • Kept waiting to check in for meal. • Kept waiting at carvery. After 4 minutes, Waitress had to alert Chef we were waiting. • Containers for various sauces all empty had not been replenished. • Aisle in front of vegetables a slip hazard due to sliced carrots on floor. Breakfast: • Disappointing as no choice of having a continental breakfast, only fried, no fresh fruit, cereal, yoghurt. • Had to walk to bar for fruit juices.

4/10This was my second visit in 2 weeks and both were disappointing. We had zero service and had to ask for our drinks and dessert. We did not see our waiter and when eventually got his attention he was confrontational and not helpful at all. We were eventually served by the manager. Food was mediocre. The meat was weighed and vegetables cold. Roast potatoes were dry and hard. Meat was dry and bitty I had pork. The part of the meal was my ice cream! No longer value for money and service awful

5.5/10We were greeted by a pleasant young lady who showed us to our table. Drinks were promptly served and we joined quite a large que to get our roast dinner. This is where is started to go down hill. The meat was okay, but they had run out of carrots the cauliflower cheese was not very cheesy, the roast potatoes were underdone but edible. Having said all of that, we all three eat everything on our plate despite the negative comments above.

4.5/10I know Tony Cavery's are cheap and cheerful but we had to wait 5 mins before anyone appeared to actually carve us some meat! That said the food was passable and there was plenty of it. Nice puddings!

2/10restaurant was empty however we waited almost half an hour after our booking time to be seated and to be spoken to by a member of staff. Absolutely no service at all and staff seemed very preoccupied although it was almost empty.

4.5/10Been a while since we have been here, not sure when or if we will visit again. 1st the 2 pints of John Smith that was ordered could not be drunk as did not taste at all good. When we went to collect the carvery, I have never had to ask at a Toby Carvery for the veg to be changed over as it was so dried out. When we sat down to eat, the cauliflower which was not changed over was cold, the stuffing was crisp ( which I don't mind ) but there was no flavour to it, tasted like cardboard. On payment we had commented on our dislikes and we had a reduction, but I would rather had paid full price and enjoy my meal.

3.5/10Upon arrival we had to wait for at least five minutes before anyone came to seat us , despite it being extremely quiet . Once we was shown to our table we was then informed that they had no beef, no turkey and no lamb available on the carvery. When our order was taken - I ordered the mushroom & ale pie , the rest of my group ordered from the very limited carvery. We found the vegetables to be Luke warm and running very low . When returning to our table our drinks had been delivered , so the service from the waitress we cannot fault , however when my vegetarian meal was finally brought out -upon cutting it open it was still completely frozen inside , the waitress was very apologetic and said she would replace it , however when this second one finally arrived upon cutting it open this was stone cold in the middle - shocking! . Totally unacceptable for what we paid , even though my meal was taken off the bill.

4.5/10I much prefer to praise restaurants than criticise so not a good day at Toby Carvery Old Windsor, 3 November starting 12:30. Overcooked sprouts and roast potatoes, cold gravy, then slow service. Staff didn't try to rescue the occasion. Got the bill before ordering dessert. Once bill came following dessert, long wait before waitress came to our table to take payment.

7/10One of my favourite restaurants and generally good value. My last visit met with alot of delays, although the staff were apologetic and the lamb felt abit chewy.
